I really enjoyed this. I found the way you wrote Claire's introspectiveness very soothing and calming, but it still made you feel that sad lonelyness she felt, and the lessening of that when she was around Echo. I also enjoyed the way you described Echo's painting of Claire, and the way Echo is so innocently caring for Claire and being worried that she upset her friend. I know I've said it before, and I'm bound to repeat myself many times in my comments to your stories, but your writing skills are really quite something. I always find your stories very soothing and the way you write flows very nicely. It gets you involved with the characters in a way very few people manage. :D More stories please?
