Maria-Sama ga Miteru Season 4 thus far ...

I am so glad this show is back!  It is so delightfully, so wonderfully gay and adorable.  I just squee my way through episodes with my hand pressed against my heart the entire time.  It is so heart-warming.

I'm on the seventh episode now, so I'm almost finished with what's aired (or at least been translated so far) and I'm cursing my lap top for over heating and shutting down and bemoaning the fact that I need to give it a chance to recover *stupid laptop, shutting down right during an emotional moment*

First of all, Sachiko owns me.  I love her so much.  And she's even dreamier than ever this season because she's figuratively let her hair down so much.  Sachiko hugging Rei to make her feel better was like the cutest thing ever.  Well, next to Sachiko giggling which is the most epic love of all.  I like how happy, and content she is this season.  And of course, her declaring she'll be going to the Lillian Women's College to be near Yumi, was just the dreamiest ever.  

Sachiko is so what Ivy would be like if she wasn't a vampire and hadn't spent her life being screwed over by Piscary.  Though I suspect that if Rachel wasn't so stupid and actually loved Ivy back openly as Yumi does with Sachiko that Ivy could be just as content and giggley as Sachiko is at the moment.

Secondly, the amusement park episode was the gayest greatest thing ever.  Sachiko is such a smooth criminal, just casually asking Yumi out on a date in front of everyone.  And Yumi's happiness at going out with her *super cute*  I love Sachiko is her 'casual clothes'.  So adorable.  This episode even made Kasiwagi tolerable.  Sachiko all bundled up asleep in the car, while Yumi gently played with her hair, aw, so much love.  And of course, Kasiwagi telling Yumi that if she really wants to own Sachiko's heart she needs to 'take it to the next level' made me squee like crazy.  All I could hear was Sebastain the Crab from The Little Mermaid singing, "Shut up and kiss de gurl".  And of course, Yumi kneeling at the edge fo Sachiko's bed as they held each others hands was the perfect way to end the episode.

Rei and Yoshino continue to be almost as dreamy as Yumi/Sachiko.  Poor Rei, having to flee the country (or at least the immediate area) because she loves Yoshino so much.  

Okay, I'm going to see if my laptop is ready for more Marimite.  I want to know what Touko's secret is, though I have a suspicion she's all depressed because she has to take over the family business and not be an actress like she wanted to be.  I just had to ramble a bit about it because this marathon session has made so fan-girly.

This season is turning out to be so awesome. Even though I've read the novels and know what's going to happen, it's still so much fun to watch it all play out. Sad to say, but this season is totally turning me from Sachiko/Yumi into a Yumi/Touko shipper. As another friend put it, Sachiko is so last season. Enjoy the rest of the episodes, I'm about to watch 10 right now.

That anime is made of so much win and gay it makes me want to scream like a fangirl.

Ah Marimite is back! I thought I was hallucinating when someone told me eons ago there might be S4! Yay! I read your post, squeed and promptly watched all available 9 (in anglais) in a marathon for all ages (i was up until 3 am with a 9 am 4-hour class in the morning - totally worth it)

What i love about Marimite is that I get to squee 'awww so gay!' a billion times per episode! LOVE IT! You are right; total gay-of-win.

because of my love for this series (which reading your journal faitfully has introduced me to, I may add) I just got into Strawberry Panic!

I feel like while I'm here I should let you know that I read all your fics faithfully whether I've seen/read the series they're based on or NOT. :D

WTF. First you turn me on to The Hollows, and now Marimite. I don't even LIKE anime (and have derided it many times to my anime-loving friends). But it's so unbelievably romantic and sweet and full of gay (without actually being GAY-GAY), I can't even - ugh. I am speechless. 2 seasons in 3 days! Seriously.

I am a huge Sachiko fan... and Touko is so annoying, ugh. I feel so sad that the first batch of Roses left, though. I actually grew to love all of them. Youko is full of win, Sei is adorable and Eriko is hilarious. Sigh.
