I would actually love it if this were the case, because it would mean that Ivy kind of selflessly giving her wish up to someone else so that they could find love, comes back in a beautiful karmic circle and allows her to keep her soul which will allow her to finally love and be loved in return.
Ya know, it's just too clean. A plot point that is neatly tied up while not being a throw-away sub-plot scene in the book? I just don't have that much optimism. >.> Still, I do remember that some wishes were too hard to grant, but it would be pretty kickass if in giving away her wish she was still able to get her biggest wish through it. That's good writing... which is why I don't think it'll happen.
