but that'd mean Kim has been lining that up since Two Ghosts for Sister Rachel when she first mixed up that spell...
Yeah, I don't know if this little theory will pan out. Probably not. It is kind of a throw away line, but I would really love it if Holly WAS involved, so that Ivy's wish will benefit her in a round about way. And with how Holly helps Ford, I think we're not supposed to think of her as a creature of pure evil. It's just finding out how she can use her unique gifts for good now.
Also, as a side note, I'm almost finished the book now, and I'm not hating on it as much as I was before. Mostly that's because she's back to the core: the plot and Team Vampiric Charms instead of Rachel angst, so she's playing to her strong suits right now. But, my hate is definitely cooling.
Rachel's concern for Ivy after her aura was ripped away, and her constant thinking about Ivy when she was gone, not to mention her giddy puppy response to Ivy coming home won me over a little. I also loved Rache ogling the shit out of Ivy in all of bloodfilled glory. Ivy and Glenn is actually not bugging me at all, since Ivy seems happy, and happy Ivy is actually kind of a laugh riot. And Rachel actually made a good decision (not fighting Mia while her aura was compromised) and stuck to her guns even with Edden egging her on (and wow, how much of a douche nozzle is Edden with all of that shit. The woman was hospitalized like two days before, back the fuck off buddy!)
So, in typical Cock Block fashion, the ending of the book is strong enough to make me soften and kind of love this again. Although, Pierce has got to go. He is the most annoying idiot ever. The way it talk makes me want to scratch my eyes out!
