Well, I still maintain that Pierce is "too good" to stick around as a love interest for long.
I don't even see how "Pierce" is too good. He's an annoying little shit. I can't believe that we are suppose to find him charming. At all. Nick did the whole questionable but rogishly charming things WAY better, and Kisten did the knight in shinning armor, Mr. Perfect thing way better. Hell, even Marshall offered "nice, safe, normal" existence in a way that Pierce never could. Ivy of course eclipses everyone in her awesomeness, but Pierce is easily the worst of Rachel's boyfriends so far. I cannot stand him. I hate him almost as much as I hate David (his only saving grace was staring wide-eyed at fire trucks. That kind of amused me).
But, yeah. I don't think he's going to be around for long. The next book will like be a redo of Book 4 where Pierce is revealed to be a super douche ala Nick. But again, been there, done that. And Nick did it better.
