Lately i've been feeling like the characters are watered down. (Pierce is 100% water, 0% substance) Even the main characters like Ivy and Rachel are in danger of stagnating if they don't grow somehow sometime soon.
This is what is bothering me so much. The book extensions are killing the series for me. There needs to be a natural progression for characters, and then they need to be put to rest, and author and audience need to move on. There is no natural progression, only unnatural cock-blocking with these two right now. We've seen Ivy and Rachel's problems, at these point we've seen multiple variations of the same problem, they need to move forward. That they aren't is capitalism and cash-cowism at it's worse.
