It looks like an electric tooth-brush. But I think you're right and it's more of a shiv, maybe a box-cutter or something. The electric tooth-brush would be more fun though!

I know right! It's a different outfit from the 'slumber party' one, so Jennifer must spend a lot of time in her underwear in Needy's room ;)
I really didn't think this movie had any deep sapphic elements, but I'll be happy to be proven wrong.
There'll be a kiss at least, but I don't know how much of romance there will be between the two. I guessing not much, which really is no surprise *le sigh*
