I watched the first episode of Vampire Diaries, and even my still existing crush on Ian Somerhalder could not make me watch a second episode
The first episode of Vampire Diaries was bad. The second was marginally better. And the third was good. I think the writers are starting to get a feel for things now, and that the quality of the show will increase. I almost didn't bother watching again after the 1st episode, but watching the third one, I was like, "Oh, this is actually kind of enjoyable now".
I'd say check out the third episode, especially if you like Somerhalder. I found him to be Cheesy McCheese the first episode, but Damon is now one of the best things about the show for me.
