i took another look like you suggested (thanks for the link) and the movie was just as bad as i remembered lol. semi-naked Eve was still yummy. :P and i totally see the subtext this time around. made me feel sad for Laura. your fic makes me feel a little better.
i must say that i'm not surprised the alien species died out, i mean what the heck is with the females dying after giving birth?! within months, the planet would be covered with all males. utterly useless!
