been putting off watching it because all the Stargate tv shows tend to bore me to death
I feel you on this. I managed to make it through a few seasons of Atlantis, but they were a fight and I finally gave up.
I'll have to repress my Star Trek is better fangirl side and give Stargate an honest chance for once.
This is my feeling as well. I'm also trying very hard not to compare it to BSG even though the show is totes trying to be like BSG. I'll enjoy it more if I expect it to be stupid.
