THANK YOU for this! For giving them a lovely (but always complicated, Cara) ending with feelings. It's so good to read fic that has Cara's so-called friends actually trying to work with and for her rather than making her bend to their own narrow ideas about the proper way to show emotion, the ways they believe she should behave. I think that's what really worked for me in this fic: Cara was herself and still got the love she deserved, a woman as complicated as she is and who loves her for her grumbling, impossible self.
