but I was kinda amazed that they offered *seven* chapters to read!! Heh, I'm assuming it's to lure back readers who went all flouncy-flouncy over the Dawn Cook reveal.
I was really surprised by it too, and I think you're right about the motivation. I know I was all flouncy (though not over the Dawn Cook thing). My problem was the last two books sucked, so I think this really was a way to show people that the series was back on track and worth spending money on. Cause truly, I wasn't gonna buy it until I read this.
