I can't say that I really have recommendations to make which makes me sad as well.
One book I can recommend is "Santa Olivia" by Jacqueline Carey. It's a good read and has ridiculously hot love scenes later on. The main character is les/bi (and ends up with a girl).
I guess I could also recommend the Gemma Doyle trilogy by Libba Bray (first book is "A Great and Terrible Beauty). It's got some subtext, and in the last book lesbian main text, but it's one of the supporting characters, not the main character. Still, the series is excellent and there is a positive and significant lesbian character.
When I first started reading BWS I was so sad cause Ivy wasn't straight up after Rach
I feel your pain. I didn't even need Ivy to be straight up after Rachel in this, I just wanted her to be around, and to be, you know Rachel's best friend. Apparently this is even too much to ask though. *sigh* Canon, you break my heart.
I'm glad that you're enjoying the story though, and that it's easing the misery of BMS a bit ;)
