Honestly I don't know why I rarely read friendship fics because when I do, I always end up loving them, and this was no different. It was so great, such a sweet tender scene.
You know, I fall into the same pattern of being like "no girl kissing ... moving on", but after I found myself writing frienship/pre-femslash pieces I went back and read some other friendship and they are really emotionally fulfilling.
I don't know what it is about this ship, but just reading about them being their for each other, and supporting each other really does it for me.
It is emotional!porn at it's best.
I only hope that Kahlan does offer Cara some sort of comfort in the actual ep and I'd love for her to go all avenger on those Mord'Siths.
I know! I need at least an epic hug between them. After watching the promo again I think Cara will be all healed by the time she returns to the gang, but I still want Kahlan all teary eyed and hugging Cara when they meet up again.
