Thank you television.  First you give me, Cara strapping up her belt.


Then you give you, Olivia Dunham strapping on a gun looking all Butchy McFabulous in her jeans and hooded jacket!

Also, that scene with Olivia and Rachel was gayest thing I have ever seen (not really, but it was still pretty gay).  I mean goddamn that was a homosexual gay lady lezzmo scene. 

First Olivia saying goodbye to their daughter, then Rachel coming into the kitchen in a robe while Olivia straps on her phallic symbol gun, saying "I didn't hear you come in last night". 

Then Rachel asking her wife when she's going to be home for dinner, and them gazing lovingly into each other hands before going in for the television gay kissing substitute hug.  Olivia clinging to Rachel and then pulling back with a adoring smile on her face, promising Rachel that when she gets back they'll snuggle hug more, because it's the sort of thing that makes life living. 

And then Rachel understanding the significance of Olivia giving Ella the necklace and looking at the door like she wants to break, but has to stay strong for their daughter!

OTHER THOUGHTS:

Alternate-verse Olivia was hot, but I didn't like her cargo pants.  The jacket was cool though.

Peter and his Mom were cute.  I really enjoyed their scenes together.

Also ... CREEPIN':  Olivia, You're Doing it Right.  Lurking in a hood watching people get it on across the street shouldn't be hot, but it was.  It really, really was.

PREVIEW FOR FINALE:  Olivia on Olivia violence is hot.  And now for a completely obvious reason I want to go and watch "Torn" again for some Kahlan on Kahlan action.

Also, here is Anna Torv's episode of  HBO's "The Pacific - Episode 5 - Peleliu Landing".  The role is pretty brief, but you get to see Anna in fancy 1940s starlet glam dress.

Although last week's ep was boring as FUCK (seriously, no more Peter stand-alone eps) the scene where Astrid and Olivia show up at Walter's apartment? I was all 'they're soo totally doing it!'.

Heh. Totes more believable than Olivia/Peter. In that one scene in the musical ep. where Esther was fixing up Olivia's wound Anna and Jaskia had more chemistry than Anna and Josh have managed in two seasons!

UNF! Somehow it being cricket, and imagining Anna's Aussie accent while she drinks some obscure Australian beer makes the whole scenario even better. And it was a pretty good scenario before! And you know she'd be trying to explain the rules and stuff, and I'd be like, "Uh huh" but really I'd be thinking about how nice she smells and how warm and snuggly she is.

*sigh* I know. Not showing Olivia/Astris interaction is the one area the show consistently sucks at. And that episode proved how much chemistry they have on screen together. I'm being to think they limit their screen time because Olivia/Astrid might become the bigger ship!

I KNOW! Nothing about how they interacted in that scene was like sisters. Not the writing, not the acting, not the anything. If you'd just flipped that scene on not knowing anything about the characters, you'd be hoping the brave lesbian FBI agent made it back to her adoring wife and child.

'cause I just know, you're *that* kinda girl...' :D

I loved all Det. Olivia/Esther interactions. I honestly thought that Olivia/Esther might have been a couple in that episode because their interactions and dialogue were so flirty it had to be intentional.

It cracks me up that Walter like unintentionally slashed them. In the back of his head he must think Olivia and Astrid have hooked up.

Oooooh! I think it's almost exactly at the 20 min mark (the scene just before it is Olivia in the bedroom talking to Ella). Basically Rachel walks into the kitchen delivering her "I didn't hear you come in last night" line, and while she is Olivia is strapping her gun on and ... it... is ... AWESOME!

Totes. They have such amazing chemistry together, but it is NO WAY sisterly. I just love the tenderness and softness that Rachel and Ella bring out in Olivia. Anna always seems to practically glow in those scenes.

WHY CAN'T THEY HAVE BEEN GF's? Olivia and Rachel have so much more chemistry together than Oliva/Peter or Olivia/Anyone really.

I know! I totally thought they were going to kiss as well. They way their bodies kind of leaned into each other before Olivia passed by, I was like "WHA .... OMG ARE THEY GOING TO ... AHHHH!"

LMAO you always has the best words to describe things. But yeah, that's the awesomeness of Rachel/Olivia I guess. Too little time onscreen but it worth the wait everytime. Thank GOD they did that scene though, because it seems that they keep forgetting about Rachel. They make look Olivia all alone in the world when in reality she isn't.

I wasn't so pleased with the finale for OBVIOUS REASONS but anyway, I still have this episode to make it up for it. Also if you already saw the finale, I guess that an AU!Olivia/Rachel fic could come handy y/y? *puppy eyes* I mean, it BEGS to be written.

PS: I keep forgetting to say this but I saw Nick and Nora playlist (it's the name?) the other day and there's the actress that plays Rachel.I didn't know she was that young. Well, she looks younger than she looks in Fringe and that movie isn't thatold right?
