Kahlan sitting between Cara and Richard is totally a description of what I'd consider to be fannon at this point.
Me too. Kahlan just totes seem like she'd want/need to be snuggled on both sides. I can see R and K occasionally sandwiching Cara in the middle to bug her, but Kahlan totes occupies the space 95% of the time.
