She mentioned him outloud in front of Michael. He researched it and found out the guy had ties to Nikita. Hence the comment about all roads leading to Nikita even when they shouldn't. Possibly another way he was able to find her place by the end of the episode.
I actually loved this episode. I'm surprised how it's improved. You're so right about Nikita is Alex's totem! Their love for each other knows no bounds, even imaginary ones.
Also, can I say I liked Jaden more in the dream than on the rest of the show thus far? She was like Jaden with a touch of Amanda.
