I assume she has het leaning fans (I mean, she has to right?) and I'd bet even they're not that thrilled with the dance she's been doing. She's making no one happy.
This is very true. There was a lot of frustration from the het fans after Pale Demon. The Ravy fans finally had others to join in with the bitching about being jerked around. By trying to appeal to everyone and appease everyone she's made NO ONE happy.
I tried to read the first few chapters of Pale Demon and I realized that it was going to be endless Trent. I've liked Trent in small doses (well, liked to hate on him), but I was kind of overwhelmed by the amount of Trent.
And I don't even like Trent. But I like character assassination less, you know?
*thinks about Skimmer ... nods* Yeah, I know.
There was a decent bit of Ivy, not as Ivy-centric as some have been. But she does get to be snarky and awesome and herself a little more.
Good to know. From what I read Ivy seemed to be in fine form, but I wasn't in the mindset to appreciate it. I honestly think I need to leave it for a while and read the book once I can think about the series without immediately getting irritated (if that day happens, which I honestly hope it will). Knowing that Ivy gets to kick ass, and be independent and awesome will help speed up the process hopefully.
