I love Gary. Love. After the first episode I wasn't sure how I would feel about him, but I absolutely love this character. I think the actor is doing a fantastic job, and he gets the best lines every episode.

“Hey, Cameron. You’re up in my grill now. You gotta get out of my grill.”

Other times that Gary Was Amazing

Though, Gary's "Bill's laughing," right after than line (pan to Bill giggling) is what really killed me.

Gary: I'm a baller.
Nina: How do you even know that word?
Gary: It's the right word.

Gary: Maybe Nina's the killer. Are you the killer Nina? It would be a surprise.

Gary: [reading text messages] Freaking. F-R-E-A-K-N. That's not a word.

Rachel: Gary, are you alright?
Gary: No, I have bruises in my hair.

I wish Nina had more to do. Though, I have to say that I kind of like that there on on-screen acknowledgements of the fact that she doesn't have much to do/is being underutilized. Hopefully that means that the show will address this soon and we'll get a nice little Nina arc.

Why is this moment awesome?

Because it takes place after Rachel and Nina having a little argument about Rachel not wanting to kiss and tell. So right after their little tiff, the new badges are delivered and Rachel (bless her heart) goes straight for Nina's badge (only picking up her own as like an after thought) and then Rachel's all, “look at your picture” but Nina looks over at her all sexy like and whispers something that could only have been along of the lines of "I'd rather look at you".

I'm mean they're no Myka/HG, but the little moments between these two are fun, and I think they have chemistry that could grow if they were allowed to interact more.

Rachel broke my heart this episode. As much as I love Gary and Nina, Rachel is the character I identify the most with. I thought we got a really nice look at her this episode and I've certainly come away with a better understanding of her (and how her powers have adversely affected her life). I hope that she does talk to Nina or Rosen soon about what happened on her date though so I can better figure out how to write Nina/Rachel sexy scenes!

I love that the show brought some F/F May-December shenanigans with Rachel and Mrs. Elkhart. Hit my Octavia/Servilia fetish hard (always starts with a hug laced with sexual tension, doesn't it?). Honestly, it wasn't a very sexy storyline, but I took great pleasure in watching Rachel and Mrs. Elkhart hold hands in the car, while Rachel lovingly gazed over at her. Makes me really wish Nina/Rachel would happen, because I think Azita could bring the GoGA, and that Nina/Rachel would have a dynamic a lot like Amina/Miriam from The World Unseen.

Also, HAI DR. VANESSA! Fancy seeing you on this show! So Warehouse 13/Alphas/Eureka all exist in the same verse. I know the tones are very different, but I'd totally be interested in seeing a Warehouse 13/Alphas cross-over, where Pete and Myka are hunting for an artifact they think is causing some strange thing and Rosen's team are hunting for an Alpha that they think might be causing it. And, no my entire reason for wanting to see this cross-over is not because I think Myka would be hard-core checking out Nina - but that is part of the reason ;)
