hah! i knew it! the very first time i saw Nadia and found out that she's Syd's sis, i was like.. hmm i think Nadia is Sloane's. and i was right tho i only saw it for like less than 5 minutes
lol. Yeah, the writers were sneaky and were trying to make us wonder all season if she could be Jack's too, but I don't think that's going to happen. I creepifying as the thought of Irina and Sloane getting it on is, Sloane really is Nadia's daddy.
i've missed too much and ALIAS isnt one of those shows that u can still follow the plot tho u've missed too many of em.. know what i mean? it's much more complicated with the whole KGB and the never ending Rambaldi prophescy..
The Irina/KGB thing isn't too complicated. Basically, all you need to know is that she was a KGB agent that married Jack Bristow so that she could spy on the CIA through him. They had Sydney and appeared to be a loving family. Then when Syd was 6, Irina fearing that she was about to be discovered, faked her death (pregnant with Nadia at this time) and went back to Russia. Once there, the KGB took Nadia away because it was speculated she had something to do with the Rambaldi Prophesy, and then Nadia was stolen away again and hidden in Argentina by some followers of Rambaldi. As for Irina she spent some time in jail then escaped, and under a different alias became some crime boss who was also tracking Rambaldi artifacts. The Syd and the CIA come across her while investigating a case, and that leads into the Season 2 story line.
And now that I typed that out, it does seem kind of convoluted, LOL. But it's understandable.
As for the Rambaldi stuff. All I can say is that I've seen every episode of this show, and I still have no idea what's going on with Rambaldi most of the time. All I know for sure is that Sydney is the Chosen One, Nadia is the Passenger, the prophesy says they will fight and one will die, and that maybe Sydney will bring utter destruction to the world (except that she was supposed to have found a way around that one). Really, the writers keep changing their mind about the Ramabaldi stuff, and inventing new things when it suits them, so it's impossible to keep it all straight.
If you really wanted, having seen season 1, you could probably just go onto season 4, and I could give you a brief recap of 2, and 3 (which is in some ways better off ignored), and answer any questions you might have (that is if I was able to follow it myself! ;) )
thx for the recommendation!
No problem, the Sydia 'Ship is always looking for more passengers. One of us, one of us, one of us! :D
btw, are they really roomate roomate like they're sharing ONE room? *wink wink to get my fantasy goin herree.. dang ur fan fic doing this to me* lol
lol, I wish they shared one bedroom! No, unfortunately Syd had a two bedroom bungalow, so they have separate rooms. But I think there's an open door policy! But they spend a lot of time home alone together, and they become VERY attached to each other in a miniscule amount of time! It's love I tells you ;) But I think you're figuring that out ... :D
