Lucy/Judy brings the awww in epic proportions, it is true.
Yeah, the deleted scenes with Lucy and Judy are cute and bring the smoochies.
The first one takes place at the beginning of the film when we're being introduced to all of the characters. It shows Lucy and Judy planning their wedding. They're hanging out in bed dressed casually while Judy goes through the responses to their wedding invitations. Lucy asks if anyone from her family responded and Judy tells her not yet. They have some cute bantering about how CRAZY Lucy's family is and then share a sweet little kiss. Then a call from Alice comes to tell Lucy about her fathers death.
The second one is hot. It takes places during the pot smoking in the basement scene. And it opens with Skip laying around on the pool table, and then pans over to the couch where Lucy and Judy are kind of lazily making out with other (awwww...and rowr!). Then Sam comes in (has one of the funniest cut line, "It smells like High School down here")to give them an update about their mother and Alice offers to walk her to her car (and we know what happens there!). As they leave Judy and Lucy go back to kissing, with some very cute face caressing going on, and then fade to black.
Those are really the two Lucy/Judy scenes on the speacial features. But there's also a wedding scene at the end of the movie near the end of the credits that most people miss (including me the first time I watched). Basically Judy is standing behind Lucy hugging her, they're dressed in matching pinkish/beige dressed, and Judy's sister is giving a little speech about welcoming Lucy to the family. Then she calls on Skip to make a toast or something, and he's ... well Skip, and starts trying to tell a joke about two gym teachers who walk into a hardware store. But Lucy kind of attacks him before he can finish with Judy backing her up. And then it fades to black.
