fembuckI had a dream last night that Morena Baccarin called me on the phone.
It was cute and strange. First off I love that in my dream we were on a first name basis for some reason, she was all like "It's Morena" and I was silent for a moment and then was like "Oh ... oh, omg how are you?" like Inara Serra calling me was a perfectly ordinary occurance. Don't you love dreams?
We proceeded to talk for a while, and she laughed prettyily occassionally and then I said I'd see her in Septemeber at the Toronto comic convention and we said goodbye.
Then I proceeded to grab my cellphone to call everyone I'd ever met to tell them that Morena fucking Baccarin had called me but I couldn't get it to work. Then inside of using the house line I tried to scroll through my caller ID to find her number to like prove that she had called but instead I got some weird phone video of a few old friends of mine drunk off their asses in some castle that was also a bar in Europe. Curses! After that it turned into a battle between me and my phone cause I wanted more Morena and not my drunken friends. *le sigh*
Ahhh Morena Baccarin ... I never realized how much I dug your voice before.
Then I had some dream about some sort of table decorating contest and drink tasting. But we had to bribe the judges with lots of cash and a nice card for some reason, and I was freaking out cause I wasn't sure if my card seemed like it was a Christmas card. Then we drank the drink that was for the judges for some reason and had to run down to the hotel gift shop to get another (apparently we were at a hotel). Then I wanted to pick wine or some sort of neat peanut liquer but Lara Flynn Boyle looking like Donna from Twin Peak, insisted on getting some kind of stupid drink so I was mad and put a bottle of wine down my pants.
The unconcious is a strange and wonderful place ...

Verily! I was watching some of my Firefly DVDs the other day and I was like "please be Wonder Woman, please be Wonder Woman" over and over again. Plus, Morena is taller than I intially thought which removes the one concern I had about her in the role. I guess cause everyone was so tall on that show she just looked short by comparision but apparently she's like 5'7 which while not exactly amazonian isn't short either. MB for WW, MB for WW, MB for WW!!!
looking at inara and all i could see was blue bloomers and red go-go boots...space hookers rock!!.

It's coming along. After my initial binge, lol, I've been working at a more reasonable pace. Just finished Selina's Big Score. Awesome, very good caper book. I heart Selina (and apparently everyone else does as well). Seriously, I loved how she'll just cap a bitch to get away. Beautiful. Thinking about looking at another Cooke one next.
Also, those CDs rocketh muchly. Thanks so much :D Also, all of my friends dig the covers as well. I had them in the car and they were like "these are randome and brilliant" lol. "Juicy Fruit" is catchy! And when I heard "Battle Without Honor and Humanity" I clapped wildly because like a day before I had just made a Blade the Series Krista/Chase music video using the same song!
More squeeage to come as I finish up the books :D
