Hee, Blade is afraid of computers. Love it. Seriously Blade and Shen acting like an old married couple will never get old.

I cannot seriously believe they gave Charlotte a baby to eat. That is so Evil. I love that little bitch.

*Shallow viewing* Krista's eye-scar was hella hot. As is Glynis. And vampire girls hissing at each other.



Hmm, animal blood makes vampires sick in the Blade-verse. Interesting. I guess the House of Lycan really did need to create cloned blood if they were gonna go the 'strictly no killy' route.

Also if vampires can't feed from people without killing them or turning them wouldn't that make keeping the secret rather difficult?

Loved Chase's film noir, femme fatale look. I wonder how many decades she's been waiting to bust that veil out again.

Really loved the quite menace that surrounded Little Blade. I enjoyed the flashback (kinda reminded of Everybody Hates Chris) scenes although Whistler was pretty much the opposite of bad-ass. Is that kick Little Blade gave to his leg supposed to be why it's messed up when he's older? And dude, it's a really bad idea to walk around with your knives and death stars and shit on the outside of your bag. Seriously, who does that. At least it explains why Blade thinks its cool to walk around with all his 'bling' hanging out.

Liked seeing Krista show off some of her mad vampire skills this episode. I wish I had vampire eyes, I would totally like never stub my toes on the way to get a glass of water at night again. And for some reason vampires crawling on ceilings never gets old to me. I'm surprised they actually had her go through with biting her mother. I have to say props to Jill Wagner who was excellent in that last scene. That was intense, and got more so with Glynis's entrance. So sad, I like Glynis but her ass is dead next week or else Krista is screwed. Mr. Detective's reaction to the girls was awesome though, perfect way to end the episode.

Not enough Shaft. I hope Richard Roundtree shows up again in a future episode(s).

OMG, the previews for next weeks episode look so kick-ass it's almost enough to bring tears to my eyes. Vampiress catfight (yay more Glynis), vampire Mrs. Starr, Chase's bum, Vancouver actor Kavan Smith appearing on yet another show I watch, did I mention Chase's bum cause her milkshake would totally bring me to the yard (was that Marcus she was with?). Looks like it's gonna be soooo sweet.

*snicker* I so love checking your entries on Blade days. They give me so much to look forward to in about two hours or so. xD Chase's BUM in the next episode? *laughs, drools* I love it. And someone else who thinks the flashbacks look like "Everybody Hates Chris"! I thought that when I saw the previews. No, vampires on the ceiling never gets old. The fact that they incorporate it into some of the fight scenes makes it even better.

I love this show so much. Every episode just gets better and better. And I was rewatching some earlier episodes and they were even better (my god there were layers) knowing what happens in the future. I can't help but spaz about it after the episodes air.

...and not only Chase's bum, but a naked, sexy Chase strut towards what looks like a large bathtub. I'm guessing we'll even get a sexy 'falling robe' shot. So good to have Chase back in top form. I've missed her for the past two episodes.

Seriously, everytime they flashed by to the 1977 shots all I could hear in my head was "everybody haa-ates Chriiiis".

If they're been a shot of Chase and Krista together for next week I might have died of joy. Oh well, Chase's bum and Krista's chickfight will make up for any lack of Khase screentime.

*giggle, snort* Muahahahaha, got to watch the ep here. Yeah, smexy Chase looked awesome. Though the best part of the entire hour was seeing the cop's face when Glynis and Chase both snarled at him. And his "Oh, shit" had me literally laughing so hard I cried. That was THE perfect episode ending.

As a sidenote - yaaaagh, Charlotte ate a baby! A cute baby! *shudders* Though her line "killing a sibling isn't uncommon - I've done it myself from time to time" was killer. Makes you wonder whose sibling she killed, ne?

Ah .. I missed watching it. And the repeats. I knew it was going on but I had other stuff to deal with. Luckily, I see it's up on torrents. I did catch the last bit with the all the hissing. Mmmm .. this is going to be fun. Now Krista has mommy issues to add to her super angst. Wonderful.

My mind wanders on who else Krista could turn into a vamp. A certain butchy mcfabulous detective in NY, ot maybe a hotshot astrophysicist and colonel up there at Cheyenne mountains. Or ... what would happen if you cross a vamp with a Cylon? Think about it .. Krista working on Xenalon. The hotness!

The hissing is gold. I love that about vampires. They need to have more hissing on the show. One thing I noticed watching the pilot again was how after Chase questioned Marcus and he went all fangy and grabbed her throat threatening her (one of the best Marcus moments), that after he walked away Chase gave the sexiest smile. She's such a dirty girl, I love it. More kinky vampire shit please!

omg, Krista and Benson all bad-ass and vamped on screen together might explode brains and television sets. It would be a hazard to public safety, lol. I have to say though, I think Six would kick Krista's ass. Six is badass and scary. Xenalon and Krista though, that could be fun times. Especially with Xenalon's habit of walking in on people half dressed, which is Krista state of dress like 20% of the time. I love cross-over hotness.

Hee, when she started taking off her jacket while breaking into Blade's place it was like the director looked around and went 'how many minutes are left in this episode? Holy shit!! Jill, hurry up and take off your jacket!'. I totally love that she's stepped up to the plate as 'least clothed character', followed closely by Shen and his tighter-than-tight muscle shirts.

Despite the lack of Chase this episode, it was still good, and my favourite part had to be Charlotte in the car. There's just something about that ancient-teen-evil that's compelling, especially when she's with Glynis.

Blade might actually be starting to get interesting, too, and I think his acting's improved - a bit.

Someone needs to start writing Charlotte/Glynis fics. You know what, Charlotte is what an absolutely evil Hermione Granger could be like. I think I'm soon going to be very obsessed with her. Though I have an unfortunate bad feeling that they'll dust her up by the end of this season. They'll have no option, if they are supposed to preserve the illusion that she'll always look like that. Hee. Awesome. I'm gonna expect Hermione to be so more kick-ass the next time I see her. Hell they should get the Charlotte actress to teach Emma Watson how to act without her eyebrows.

I worry about the fate of Charlotte as well :( I still think they could get another season out of the actress before she ages too noticably though. If this season goes into a war between the Houses I'd love for Charlotte to stick around cause seeing her in scenes with the other purebloods would be kick-ass. Also, with Marcus's increasing 'Krista is the bestest ever' attitude, it could be kind of fun to have Chase cozy up to Charlotte if she really is a power whore. Because that tag team would end all other tag teams. Besides, who will Lurch carry around on his shoulders if she is gone?

That's the only downside to torrents. But, glass half full, it seems like we'll get a good long a said vampire bottom so *sighs dreamily*

And Charlotte in the car was pure genius. That girl is such a good little actress. Someone else was in the room with me when I was watching and they were absolutely horrified when Charlotte took that baby into her arms. I was horrified too but also kinda fell further in love with Charlotte cause she's just SO evil.

And I do love the Charlotte/Glynis pairing. Too Glynis is now in a fight with Krista which means she's most likely ash next week. C/G was a fun pairing and I would have liked to see some more of their inappropriate chemistry.

And yeah, Sticky is no longer horribly bad. He's aiight now. Still, I loved Little Blade way more than I like or am ever likely to like Sticky. Seriously man, when a ten year old does more convincing fight scenes than you it's time to take a good long look in the mirror and confront your suck head on.

Finally! FINALLY, I watched the ep because your post was pounding away like some Chase licked tell-tale heart tempting me with spoilers.

I think what I love about this show is they don't pull any punches. They got ten-year-olds throat ripping thugs, baby eating tweenagers, and pillow-smothering matricide. I haven't read any spoilers so it makes me wonder if my only speculation about this show, Chase and Marcus being siblings, just might be true. Because, if there's a show that's gonna break *that* taboo? It's this one. I more than admit it's probably a snowball's chance of actually happening, but it would totally rule if it did.

I just wish they'd stop with the Marcus/Krista UST. 'Cuz, if they're gonna do that, it'd probably help if they didn't have Chase in the scene as well. Those two only have eyes (now that Krista has both of them) for each other.

I know! I absolutely love that about this show. I was like "I can't believe they actually gave her a baby to eat. That's hardcore!" and "omg, I can't believe Krista actually went through with turning her mother. That's hardcore! And stupid" lol. Though I have to say they've been doing it since the first episode (I didn't really think that Krista would feed off of Boone, I thought Blade would get there in the nick of time and was pleasantly surprised when he didn't.) It's nice to watch a show that isn't afraid of itself and it's genre.

When the publicity stills came out for the show I seriously thought they were siblings. I was convinced it and was actually surprised and a wee bit disappointed that they werent'. I don't know if it was because they were both blonde or what, but I had my heart set on fucked up family relations.

Because, if there's a show that's gonna break *that* taboo? It's this one. I more than admit it's probably a snowball's chance of actually happening, but it would totally rule if it did.

I would totally love it if that happened. I think a Revolutionary Girl Utena incestuous-brother-worship thing would be totally fascinating and cool, but its likely never going to happen. But it would give a really interesting twist to Chase's jealously of Krista and also the weird love triangle that's going on between the three of them. *le sigh*

Come on producers, just say that Chase was sent to boarding school in Australia or something to explain away Gower's accent and you're good to go. Hell, most viewers probably won't even realize it's an Aussie accent and not a British one.

Marcus/Krista is B-O-R-I-N-G. Especially because Krista doesn't really seem to like him all that much. I mean I know Marcus digs her, but it seems really one sided. On the other hand she seems attracted to and repelled by Chase and that's interesting (Kinda like how Buffy/Faith was WAY more interesting than Buffy/Angel). Honestly, she's never given Marcus a look half as hot as her mildest looks at Chase. Just think about how much more interesting that restuarant scene would have been with Chase than Marcus with Chase pushing Krista's buttons and probably playing footsie under the table with her. That would have been so sweet.

Yay! It's not just me. And, honestly, it's really kinda weird to be all 'Incest!Yay!'. But, US tv hasn't had a really good incestuous, murderous siblings plot since Wiseguy.

I still think it's a snowball's chance in Hell but the only thing that really gives me hope is that Marcus and Chase haven't been sexually physical with each other. And, this being Spike, if they were lovers we'd totally know by now. It goes with the theme of family they've been using, with Krista/Zach vs. Marcus/Chase. And sets up an interesting dynamic for the day that Krista *does* avenge her brother. Because, what would hurt Chase more - the death of a lover or a sibling?

The problem with the Marcus/Krista ship, aside from the boring, are the power dynamics. Krista's not attracted to him because she *wants* to be. Marcus, basically, forced himself upon her and now she's dependent upon him for survival. Remove Marcus turning Krista, binding her to him, and he's basically a stalker. And, yeah, I try not to think about it or else I just wind up getting pissed off.

With Chase, the power dynamics are much, much different. They're basically equals. And Krista isn't dependent upon Chase in the same way she is with Marcus. Which makes it a thousand times hotter. Because, the attraction is there by choice as opposed to force.

Just think about how much more interesting that restuarant scene would have been with Chase than Marcus with Chase pushing Krista's buttons and probably playing footsie under the table with her.

*sigh* Just exactly how many banks would I have to rob or unborn children to give up to see that happen?
