Blade - Season Finale

OMG! So much love for this episode! I've laughed out loud, gasped, cringed, cheered, and whooped.

Glad to see Blade Totally. Going. There. once again!

"You wearing a wire or some shit?!?" LOL. I don't know why but that line made me laugh my ass off. Probably the combination of the ghetto-ness of the line combined with the generally bitchy disposition of Blade in that scene.

Loved, loved, loved that Chase did turn over to Charlotte's side. LOVED THAT CHASE OUTRIGHT SAID IT WASN'T ABOUT MARCUS. When push comes to shove, I love that Chase totally chose Chase. Plus, Chase was actually trying to do something nice for Krista last week by telling her to give up on Marcus and join her/become her friend. She was giving Krista one last chance to save herself. Also, I love how one of the first things on her list to do after sticking it to Marcus was to claim Krista as her bitch. Too bad Krista plays about as well with others as Blade does, lol. Oh I'm joking, but I appreciated the return of the subtext, plus their bitch fight was awesome, Krista got some great one liners and Chase got away battered but not dead (plus, Marcus' Chase is a badass and you should watch your ass for the rest of your life speech was great). Also, Chase's bloodgasm from torturing Shen was hot. That's right, I said hot.

Loved that Krista totally didn't seem smitten with Marcus this episode. That little dismissive "I've got a headache" peck she gave him when she came out of the bathroom killed me. I laughed, I did I did. Obviously with her "Blade!" at the end distracting Blade from ashing Marcus the connection is still there, but it's not love.

Loved, loved, loved that the Purebloods didn't buy Marcus' bullshit. Too bad they didn't just frenzy on him and eat his ass. At least then he would have been all mangled and shit for the fight.

Loved, loved loved Shen with his bad ass rolling kung-fu moves, and his taking his torture like a man and quipping, and his "do you have any toilet paper" baiting notes of kickassery. And his snark, oh how I love his snark. Shen was totally fine this episode. Plus I gotta add, Krista was totally bad ass by breaking her own fingers to help Shen out. [Stevie Wonder]Knowin' you can always count on me for sure! That's what friends are for![/SW] It was a sweet way to end a torture scene. Plus I love how Marcus was being such a delicious bastard since he totally knew Krista was working for Blade at that point and was friends with Shen.

Loved, loved, loved that Marcus' plan didn't work and BLADE SAVED THE DAY by releasing the gas.

Loved, that Krista was discovered in the end. That was one hell of a cliffhanger. THERE MUST BE A SEASON 2!!! THEY CANNOT LEAVE THINGS LIKE THAT. I WILL CRY. SPIKETV WILL HAVE MADE A GROWN ASS WOMAN CRY!

Omg, I drooled over this episode. *cackles gleefully* It was so frigging awesome! And it so makes me feel better about the whole Chase / Krista non-kiss earlier. *nodnod*

Also, I love how one of the first things on her list to do after sticking it to Marcus was to claim Krista as her bitch.

*snickers* I cracked up over that one. Just the whole "Once you've watched the douchebag bite it, I get to play with you" attitude. And then Krista's "All over a man? Chase, you're such a girl." Oh, my god. I laughed so hard I cried. It was like the writers were going "yes, we know, she came across as the stereotypical jealous bitch last episode, we're sorry, we had to do it. Have some lovely snark to make up for it." xDDD Hello, subtext, nice of you to make a comeback.

Marcus' Chase is a badass and you should watch your ass for the rest of your life speech was great.

That has to be like his one perfect line / quote / speech. It was pretty much the only comment of his in the entire season that actually made me glee. Though truthfully, his whole attitude during the episode has a new light when you think of him knowing about Krista's betrayal beforehand. Actually makes him seem almost evil instead of just annoying. I had an inkling he might already know - he was too insistant on watching her torture Shen - but the ending was still a nice twist.

Speaking of Shen - hello, snark! I seriously did a double-take and "wtf?" when I read the note, but it still made me laugh my ass off. And the fact that he dropped the eyeball and had to catch the damned thing. xDDD I was nearly crying I was laughing so hard. It was like "who needs bloodsucker powers? I'll kick your ass, bitch." His torture was totally cringe-worthy, too. And Krista breaking her own fingers while she puts the scalpel under his hand! I flinched so badly, but it rocked!

There had better be a season two, or you won't be the only person crying. I mean, come on. A cliffhanger like that?!? Chase bouncing like a superball down the stairs, then vanishing? Marcus threatening Krista, and Blade nowhere around? They CAN'T leave it. It would be cruel.

I know! When Chase's deception was revealed I was all like "She totally wanted Krista to run away with her when the shit hit the fan. Awwwwww." That's why she kissed her at the end, trying to soften her up and entice her towards her. (Because in the context of the threat, as visually pleasing as it was, the kiss made no sense).

Yeah, its so true. And I love them for totally playing us last week cause it made this week so much sweeter. And the subtext *hugs the subtext*. I missed you so much subtext *hugs subtext again*

BTW, I loved how head Pureblood guy totally didn't want to hear any of Marcus' pompus rambling. His disdain and irritation at Marcus speaking cracked me up because that's how I feel when he just. keeps. droning. on. about. things. (like the first scene in the episode.) It's like "Shut up, Marcus!"

Word. Me too. I couldn't watch. I like that Krista was kind of redeemed for that by breaking her own fingers and slipping him the scalpel though, cause ewwwwwww.

And as a sidenote - he hit the Big Red Button o'Doom and nothing happened! He stood there like a jackass! xDDDD *cracks up* My vision is complete. The only thing missing was Charolette - but Chase giving him up was almost as good.

I even loved the way they (or at least Lord Rusk) were just hanging out in their chairs like they were so bored they couldn't even be bothered to sit up straight. But I'll never get tired of people treating Marcus like a particularly annoying fly that just won't stop buzzing around their head.
