Notes: Loved tonight's episode. Also, Lizzie and Kathryn are so an old married couple. The ultrasound converstaion was the cutest thing ever, not to mention Lizzy's 'oh you' response to Kathryn on her cell phone at the doctors. That nurse is a total femslasher and I dig her, lol.

A fond smile touched Lizzie’s lips as she heard the familiar dull snap of a cell phone near the door of the living room.

“I hope you weren’t using that thing by the microwave,” Lizzie said, her tone playful as Kathryn padded towards her barefoot, but still in her suit.

“Old wives tale,” Kathryn responded smiling affectionately at Lizzie before dropping her eyes to the rapidly growing bundle in Lizzie’s arms. “Bottle, as promised,” she continued holding out the object in question before lowering herself onto the couch next to Lizzie, leaning over to kiss her gently on the cheek.

“Again,” Lizzie replied smiling, turning her face towards Kathryn allowing the lawyer access to her lips, which Kathryn gratefully accepted and luxuriated in for a few moments before a soft gurgling drew their attention back to the small form resting in Lizzie’s arms. “Do you want to feed her?” Lizzie asked glancing down and bouncing the baby lightly before looking back over at Kathryn.

“Yeah,” Kathryn whispered smiling and reaching out. Because of her work hours she wasn’t usually around for Eva’s feeding time, but she’d managed to make it home early that evening, even if she had to spend the first fifteen minutes there on her cell.

Lizzie rested her head against the back of the couch, closing her eyes for a second allowing some circulation to return to her arms before lazily tilting her head to the side to watch as Kathryn brought the bottle to Eva’s mouth and murmured to her softly.

Lizzie smiled softly as she watched her partner, her mind drifting back to the first time they had been referred to as such. She had been so nervous about her first real visit with the doctor about her pregnancy and it had been such a comfort to have Kathryn with her, and it had meant a lot to her at the time that the other woman had come to be with her despite her hectic schedule. When her name was called to see the doctor, she and Kathryn had been smiling over Kathryn’s use of her cell phone while sitting right in front of the sign that prohibited their use, and Kathryn had automatically stood up with her only to pause afterwards uncertain whether or not she should go with her. The nurse no doubt had seen their cozy interaction and caught Kathryn’s look of uncertain at her, and had assured Lizzie that “her partner” could come with her, which had led to some befuddled, awkward stammering and exchanges of looks between them that both embarrassed and amused Lizzie before she headed into the exam room with the nurse by herself.

If only she had known how right the nurse was.

“Have you eaten?” Kathryn asked looking over at Lizzie’s serene face as the younger woman reached out and stroked Eva’s head gently.

“Uh uh,” Lizzie replied. “I lay down with her to read about the adventures of Curious George, and we both fell asleep, didn’t we?” she continued leaning over to kiss Eva’s forehead lightly. “I only woke up a few minutes before you got home.”

“Good,” Kathryn declared smiling.

“Starving my gorgeous girlfriend is good?” Lizzie asked raising an eyebrow questioningly.

“No one's going to starve,” Kathryn responded, glancing around looking for the small towel they kept for burping the baby. “I stopped by the grocery store on my way home. I thought I’d cook.”

Lizzie looked worried as she leaned towards Kathryn to drape the towel over her shoulder.

“I’ll stick to what I know,” Kathryn promised as she brought Eva over her shoulder.

“Bacon and eggs?” Lizzie asked smiling. She really did try to be good, but she’d gotten a taste for bacon again during the pregnancy and hadn’t quite been able to get the cravings under wraps again.

“If you feel like being bad,” Kathryn responded patting Eva on the back gently.

“Can that be the theme for tonight,” Lizzie asked biting her bottom lip before looking over at Kathryn with hooded eyes, “Counselor?” she added her voice dropping slightly as she held Kathryn’s gaze.

Kathryn breathed in deeply before allowing a smile of her own to touch her lips.

“Is six too early to put her down for the night?” she asked ruefully wetting her lips as her gaze drifted down to Lizzie’s.

“A little bit,” Lizzie replied laughing softly before shifting slightly on the couch to capture Kathryn’s lips. “I promise to make it up to you.”

“You know I’m going to consider that a binding contract,” Kathryn replied playfully. Lizzie was always worth the wait.

Lizzie smirked. “If I break the contract does that mean you have to service me?”

“Oh,” Kathryn replied standing up and moving over towards the crib at the side of the couch. “I think that will happen no matter what,” she continued glancing at Lizzie longingly as she straightened up. “Are you going to make sure I don’t burn anything?”

“Everything’s child proofed, you should be fine,” Lizzie replied smirking at Kathryn’s mock glare before stretching out on the couch and reaching for the book she had abandoned earlier. “I think we’ll try and get through a few zany adventures.”

“Alright,” Kathryn replied leaning down to ghost a kiss over Lizzie’s mouth. “I’ll bellow when it’s ready.”

It totally get the dilema, I love me some PR but I have to download it (why, Canada, why????) so that leaves me free for The Nine, which I love more and more.

If you're thinking the lawyer with the lopsided hair, and the nurse/clipboard carrying hospital worker that's them. And Lizzy and Kathryn are totally cute and they get gayer each episode, lol.

P.S. Has PR had the Olympus Fashion week episode yet?

Olympus Fashion week is actually airing tomorrow. Finale!!!

And then I can focus on The Nine!

*Whimpers* Must find PR download ... like ten minutes ago. I've seen some stills for their shows but I want to see it in glorious motion (plus, I miss my boo Nina). And of course I'm dying to find out who won and I don't want to spoil myself.
