Best anime ... most gayest!

Okay, so I just got through watching the first episode of Strawberry Panic! and it the most magical, gayest anime ever. I kid you not, it is even gayer than the first couple episodes of Revoluntionary Girl Utena. *dreamy sigh* Shizuma, please be mine ... *girlish twirl*





Description: Nagisa Aoi is a first year high school student who has been sent to the Astraea Dormitory after her parents are transferred abroad. The dormitory houses girls from three different girls' schools: St. Spica's Academy, St. Le Rim Girls School and St. Miatre Girls Academy. There she meets the representative of the three girls' schools, Shizuma Hanazano, also know as the Etoile, who is beloved by all students at all schools. The two of them have an interesting first encounter and Hanazano seems to take an instant liking for Aoi.

And while I'm on the subject on anime I'll take the time to pimp Death Note as well. I watched the first episode of this series and loved it so much that I went out and bought the manga last week, and I'm already on vol. 7 of it, because it is manga crack and I can't stop reading it. This one's not so much with the gay, but it is cool as hell, and full of Prof. Moriarty/Sherlock Holmes type battles of the wit between the main characters L and Light and I totally dig it.


Description: Shinigami own notebooks called “Death Notes” which are used as killing devices. Whoever’s name they write down in a death note will die within 40 seconds. Shinigami Ryuk dropped his Death Note in the human world where it’s found by honor high school student Light. With the death note actually having directions in it for its use, Light discovers he now has the power to discreetly kill people, and with this new power he plans to change the world in his ideal world by killing off criminals. Eventually the governments of the countries around the world notice the unusual amounts of deaths of their criminals, and figure out someone is behind them, but they have no way of discovering it themselves. That’s when they hire L, a master detective, to find out who is behind the murders.

LOL, glad you enjoyed it. It just gets gayer and gayer. I love whispering "kiss" at the screen and then watching as Shizuma actually does does to kiss her. It's awesome to just be able to sit back and watch the slash blossom ;D
The full episode downloads are taking so long, but the series is up on Youtube which is where I've taken to watching it because I'm an impatient whore, lol.

And I'm downloading Death Note for my roomie, but not watching it.

well, you'll love the fact that a few eps on, we see that she sleeps naked.

i really do love shizuma -- her gay & cracktastic self is everything sachiko (from maria-sama ga miteru) should have been if she were more in touch with her wild gay side :) instead of being such a lovable stick-in-the-mud that she is.

I just watched the first episode of Maria-Sama Ga Miteru thanks to one of those very helpful links you just posted for SP downloads and I'm loving it, and at least in this first ep. can totally see the connection between Sachiko/Yumi and Shizuma/Nagisa. They (S/Y) seem to be embracing the gay much more so far (Yumi's crush is already well developed, and Sachiko is all 'stay over at my place baby, and we'll sleep on ajoining mats), but I'm guessing they just keep on teasing whereas Shizuma actually put the moves on Nagisa.

Still, after one episode Sachiko is totally my homegirl (rich, beautiful, refined girls who serve as mentor figures just *le sigh*).

Totally looking forward to the rest of the series, even if everyone doesn't end up having sex like in SP (except for poor Tamao-chan, lol. Awwww).

Thanks for the link! And that site allows multiple downloads Woo Hoo! I don't know how I missed the rec before, but I'm certainly going to rectify that situation. I've been so trained on subtext that it doesn't matter to be really as long as they continue to tease, sometimes the teasing is hotter (e.g. South of Nowhere Season 1).

Thanks for the heads up, I was so confused! I had no idea what was going on, I didn't even notice that some of the episodes had 'haru' attached to them until you mentioned it. I've got it all straightened out now though :D

I had a marathon today and just finished the season 1 finale and now declare Sachiko/Yumi the cutest ever. Sachiko learning how to order food (and then forgetting to pick it up), buying blue jeans together, and then the nervous post-date phone call = love. Bring on season 2!

btw, i'm posting the marimite manga (i thinking of just posting the yumi-sachiko arc thus far) on my LJ, so heck, drop by if you've got time to read up. as far as the manga, the scan group is up to the "white petals" -- sae (i.e. rosa gigantea) arc, so you've already seen that if you've polished off season 1.

Oh, it is tres bon! And youtube totally has the whole series up. In fact thanks for suggesting it, because my full episode downloads are taking forever, and I'm now totally addicted to it, so I've been watching the episodes on youtube now!

Isn't it though *dreamy sigh* I'm on like Vol. 6, but now I have to order the rest on-line *kicks Chapters* I like the anime, but because I'm so far ahead in the manga I'm finding it a little anti-climactic cause I already know what's going to happen (it hasn't deviated at all in the first 6 eps.).

dude, i checked out strawberry panic on u-tube...it's soooo japanese...i watched 3 eps...unfortunately, one of the was the very last one...needless to say...it made no sense...but it was pretty titilating...did you get a chance to check out "noir"...it's not as explicit w/ the lezbiosity but, it's very pretty and it definitely your cup of tea...:)

You can download the full episodes directly from here (http://misha.distrocity.com/). This is a really good site with quick downloads (most eps. take about 5-15 minutes).

As for youtube, search for "Strawbery Panic! 1 (1 of 3)" and it should bring up the first episodes first part. Then just change the numbers for the episodes and parts that you want.

Downloading for the site above is the better option though, cause the gay will be much larger (*wink*) and a full screen episode is much easier on the eyes with the subtitles.

Actually, in my ignorance I accidently watched the first episode of season 2, instead of the first episode of season 1, and in 2x01 Yumi does indeed sleep over at Sachiko's house on an ajoining mat, and spends the whole night (presumably, at least what we see of it) staring at Sachiko adoringly. They totally would've done it, but unfortunately Sei (Rosa Gigantea) was there and Sachiko's to prim and proper to try any funny stuff under the blankets with Yumi with another person in the room ;D

Sachiko's definitely with the touchy feely when it comes to Yumi chan though, which is not very japanese. The girl's got potential.

She is really touchy feely with Yumi which is great because you definately get the feeling that Sachiko doesn't generally casually touch people. But she just can't keep her hands off of Yumi. Plus, I love how stoicly jealous she gets whenever Sei touches Yumi, like she's thinking "my petite soeur, my Yumi, NO TOUCHING!" lol.

The last episode of season 1 is total love, it is the cutest that ever cutest'ed (or something), especially for a Yumi/Sachiko lover.

It's really quite sweet how the girls are looking out for each other. In the first few eps, the other girls are trying to help Sachiko face her issues with her cousin and get with Yumi chan by making her jealous.

She is really touchy feely with Yumi which is great because you definately get the feeling that Sachiko doesn't generally casually touch people.
The piano duet in ep 2 where Sachiko's all over Yumi chan was like o_O. Sachiko's totally using her feminine wiles on Yumi chan to win her over.
