Okay, so the Gnarls Barkley cover of "Crazy" is like a work of mad genius and I love it, I love it so much that if it were possible I would marry it and have it's babies, and have an open relationship so that other people could love it as well because it would be cruel to keep it to myself.

So of course I checked out the album as soon as possible and totally love it too. It's like a crazy insane, funkadelic mixture of hip-hop, pop music, soul and rock that delights the senses. It's kind of dark, and introspective, and odd, and eerie, but all flowly and nice.

I highly recommend it, so for your listening pleasure ...

Bonus tracks:

Mickey Avalon - Jane Fonda This song is so freakin' catchy. Avalon is a bit of an acquired taste, but this song is so fun and dirty and playful that it's good for everyone.

"One, two, three, four
get your booty on the dance floor
work it out, shake it little momma
lemme see you do the Jane Fonda
five, six, seven, now
if you don't know, let me show you how
to work it out, work it little momma
I know you wanna do the Jane Fonda "

Wax Tailor - Our Dance. I first heard this song visiting the website for the gorgeous actress Mylene Jampanoi where this awesome song started playing, and immediately spent like a frakking hour trying to figure out who the artist was. Finally I found out that it was Wax Tailor and immediately downloaded a copy. This song and Wax Tailor's music in general is full of dark sounds and wonderfully mysterious and eerie twists. Check it out, you will be haunted and capitvated!

April, stop stealing my brain! You're like Prof. X, getting all up into my [Riley Freeman]'mental mind'![/RF] Seriously, I don't know anyone who didn't flove 'crazy', such an awesome song, and with the exception of a few songs the rest of the CD is awesome as well. Music Twin Powers Activate!

Ohhh, seriously? You're the bestest! But if you change your mind just let me know :D

I haven't had a chance to read them yet, but now that I'm off a couple of weeks I was hoping to catch up on some serious comic reading. I've had friggin' Pride of Baghdad for like a month and its still in it's protective plastic covering. That's just wrong.

Oooh, and I just finished vol. 8 of "Y: The Last Man". Damn that series is like an endless rollercoaster ride. I went through vol. 7-8 in like one sitting. Seriously it's addictive. And even though I should be shipping Rose/Ali, I'm totally a Hero/Beth #2 shipper now and convinced that Yorrick is a femslasher for hooking those two crazy kids up. Also, Epiphany offended me on behalf of all Cannucks everywhere! I'll miss You though, and the Mandriod, lol.

Anyway, I need to be off doing some boxing day shopping...

Hope you had a great Christmas, and I wish you (a really early) HAPPY NEW YEAR!

This is a cool album :-) I noticed that when I downloaded Track 6 it was the same file as Track 10.
