fembuckGlorious, absolutely glorious. Downloaded this last night, and finally watched just watched it and ... so much love! First of all, it was like 90% Yumi and Sachiko, nay, Yumi and Sachiko together, and then with the romantic retreat, and the cute car ride, and Sachiko losing her cool over Yumi, and the old married couple snuggling, and the everything! Glorious, just glorious.
Okay, first of all the lovers quarell that started off the episode was so cute. Actually the best part about it was how the rest of the student council was just watching like "there they go again ... awwww". Yoshino was probably muttering "Kiss, kiss" in her head along with me. See, they were fighting, but you know they love each other because Yumi observed from Sachiko stroking the handle of her mug that she needed more tea, and Yumi was all 'it's because I'm your
I also loved their little walk together where Sachiko told Yumi she could invite someone with her, but then they were both like "I only need you to be happy" and walked off together in hair swirling bliss. I was worried that it would be more Yumi/Sachiko misunderstanding each other leading to angst stuff (the tiff at the beginning had me worried that they hadn't moved forward in their relationship since the end of the second season), but they talked about what they were feeling with each other and managed to make each other feel good because of it! Way to go girls.
The Yumi seeing Sachiko for the first time as Sachiko picks her up to go to her summer home. That long, slow shot starting at Sachiko's feet all the way up her body in her legragious jeans. Yumi was so enthralled by her hotness that she couldn't even remember how they were going to get to the Osagawra summer home. It's alright Yumi, I was right there with you. Sachiko in jeans is quite a sight to behold.
The entire freaking car ride was genius, from sharing a boxed lunch, to napping together, to the rest spot where Sachiko 'oh so smoothly' wipes some ice-cream from the corner of Yumi's mouth. OmgtheyaresocuteIalmostcan'tstandit!
One of the best parts for me was the fact that Yumi totally thought that they were going to be sharing a
Dude, Sachiko is so a Gangsta of Love! Everybody loves her. Seriously, Sachiko's milkshake brings all the girls to they yard. So, while I was totally amused by the gaggle of girls fighting for Sachiko's attention, I totally hated her well-to-do bitchy acquaintances (I think almost as much as she dislikes them now, lol). Also, it's completely sick and wrong that they Touku seem almost nice! Still, I loved the whole plot because of Sachiko getting all emtional and protective of Yumi, and I loved that Yumi was all like swoony over Sachiko when she was freaking out because she knew that it meant Sachiko really cared about her. And then of course, the whole bitchy-friends-invite-them-to-party-but-don't-tell-them-it's-a-birthday-party-so-that-they'll-be-humiliated-and-embarassed allowed for that lovely duet between Sachiko and Yumi at the end.
Totally dug Sachiko's giggle fest at the end (because Sachiko laughing is the cutest ever), and I was totally thinking that Yumi was going to do that hilariously awful dance too, and was completely relieved when she just started singing. They fact that this moment of supreme cuteness happened as they were hanging out on a porch at night snuggled against each over after agreeing to spend the next day laying around in bed together just made it that much more awesome ;)

It *was* cute and yet I was a little uneasy about it until they actually talked about the misunderstanding they had and resolved it. Score! It was kind of funny that Rei and Yoshino were so casual about the "playful" (lit. jareau) fight, while Shimako and Noriko were wondering whether WWIII had started. These two are still not quite down with the old married couple thing.
I totally hated her well-to-do bitchy acquaintances (I think almost as much as she dislikes them now, lol).
That part totally reminded me of Hana Yori Dango which was really popular when it was running. It's fun even though it doesn't have any goga.
That look that Sachiko sends to Yumi at the end of their duet is so amazing, you can feel the connection between the two of them. You know that if they'd been alone, Sachiko would've totally made a move on Yumi. Yumi was obviously completely on board with that, hence the offer to "nap" (lit. hirune) together all day the next day.
This so calls for fic :D

Right there with you! After the last few episodes of last season with the misunderstanding nearly leading to them breaking up, I was very worried that they hadn't learned their lesson and we would be in for more of the same 'they're their own worst enemies' bull, so I was very happy that they talked it out and avoided disaster.

have make-up sexmake-up and everything will be fine'. Yeah, I mean I loved how during the duet it faded to the field with blossoms around because it totally showed you how they were in their own little world and that at the moment they were the only thing that mattered to each other. And Sachiko just looked soooo smitten with Yumi after the song ended. So cute.
And yeah, if they'd been alone Sachiko totally would have made one of her classic 'must find some way to touch Yumi' moves. There would have been suggestive face caressing, probably a hug, whispers and standing far to close to each other.
My only disappointment is that we didn't get to see them taking a nap together and snuggling on blankets for the whole of the next day. Because that would have been awesome.

ZOMG! Hilarious...those snoody bitches pissed me off big time. I disliked them as much as I dislike Touku. How sweet was it that the Roses showed up. I was like 'awwww...' they're great friends to have.
I loved the duet too, but I kind of hoped she'd do the dance because it was so funny the last time she did it. Sachiko totally didn't know how to react and that was hilarious. But that duet was sweet and I felt victorious right along with Yumi and Sachiko. (serves those elite bitches right!)

LOL, yeah I loved that. Yumiko has now reached the Rei/Yoshino status of 'old adorable married couple'. Plus, Yoshino knows that it's all about the 'making up' during a long car ride, lol.
