Exclusive to OurChart: Writer / Director Angela Robinson's hot new Pulp Fiction-style Lesbian noir! Set in the criminal underworld of Los Angeles with a dark but over-the-top Miami Vice vibe, Girltrash! follows the story of five ass-kicking girls, getting by any way they can -- even if it means double-crossing your best friend or former lover. With an amazing cast, including Jordana Brewster, comedian Margaret Cho, Mandy Musgrave and Gabrielle Christian of "South of Nowhere," and L Word Season 4 addition Rose Rollins, Girltrash is the first must-see of 2007. A gang war is brewing… and you'll be asked to pick a side. Look for new "webisodes," coming soon on OurChart.

Marianna. Kingpin. She inherited her Daddy's drug empire. Now the town is hers...

Ming-Lao. Rival Drug Lord. Her nickname is "The Widowmaker." 'Nuff said. When she challenges Marianna for control of L.A., the streets will run with blood.

Misty. Juvenile-delinquent. Rebel with a cause. Living fast and dying young.

Colby. Good girl -- or is she? Still waters run deep. She'll get caught in the undertow.

Monique. The Enforcer. Her bad side is her only side. Go ahead, see what happens if you cross her.

Jordana Brewster as a whip weilding drug lordess. Margaret Cho as her aracade game playing, tattooed nemisis. Mandy Musgrave being sexy. Gabrielle Christian thugged out, and Rose Rollins as a bad mother-shut yo mouth! Totally there.

Damn you, Chaiken. I had sworn not to have anything to do with ourchart, but once again you've lured me in with hot chicks (who better make out!).

*le sigh*

Fucking hell. I think my brain just exploded... in a good way. Chaiken is the devil. She really is, isn't she? Luring me to her site with promise of tasty candy and then (probably) forcing me to watch crappy commercials for her show. Hee.

Okay, I'm probably missing something, but what is this? A new film, tv series, what? I need clarity ::grin::

The site says the "series" will be delivered through "webisodes"...available only on ourchart.com, I assume. I still can't help but be skeptical about all of this, or at least I don't want to hold my breathe on this just yet.

I'm obviously looking in the wrong place - I tend to do that - but if they can get it up and working it sounds like an interesting idea. Although I'm worried it'll turn out to be these ten minute webisodes with all flash and no substance (as in plot). Hopefully, that's won't be the case, as professional internet broadcasting is the next logical step.

I was surprised at how effective the format has been for the-n when watching the SoN webisodes on their site. It's clearly going to catch on because it's a great way to deliver additional related media that doesn't fit in the show for various reasons.
Content quality is another matter, but think of it as drabbles. Short doesn't necessarily mean no substance, some folks manage to put plenty of substance in their drabbles.

lol. Based on the sneak preview, it definately won't be winning any cinematography awards. It's kind of like the videos I take of my friends on my digital camera, only everyone's hotter.

Exactly! It's like Angela Robinson was the head of the school AV club and the crazy teacher Ms. Chaiken said she had to make a piece about drugs, so Angela called up her friends and said "Hey, Gabby, Margaret, Jordana, Mandy--instead of going bowling this Saturday, how about we make a bunch of short films about a lesbian drug war?" but Jordana really wanted to go bowling, so they compromised, and shot the whole thing in three hours, then went bowling.
I'll still watch it, of course. Darn you, Gabrielle Christian and your adorable cuteness!

All I can say is "OMG. OMG. OMG." Seeing Mandy and Gabby in something else OTHER then South of Nowhere will be fucking amazing. Mmmm, love me some bad grrrls.

I know! I'm kind of hoping they'll have Misty and Colby hook up, because I wanna see Gabby and Mandy actually be able to kiss and show the physical affection SoN totally bitched out on showing this season. Knowing my luck, they probably won't have any screen time together.

If that's the case, Angela better have Misty and Marianna hook-up to make up for it ;)

Good God. I think Angela Robinson has some kind of window into all of our heads. This is downright scary, how she knows exactly what we want, and delivers it in hot packages. Downright scary... and also the best thing ever.

I want to see Girltrash! SO bad now. *grin*
