I have no idea what this movie is about because, ah, I don't speak French. Actually, I saw a subtitled trailer for it and I still had no idea what it was about because ... well, the trailer makes no sense. All I could really tell is that she's tall and he isn't so it looks funny when she stands next to him, also they're French, there are some gangsters and a classy looking strip club, and she really likes her black dress.

Also she might be an angel.

But whatever. All that matters is that even as a bleached blonde, Rie Rasmussen is crazy hot. I've heard that this is one of Besson's best films, and I've heard that it's one of his worst. All I know however, is that the cinematography is beautiful and ... Rie Rasmussen is crazy hot, speaking French and radiantly captivating.

Also she might be an angel ... or a vampire ... or Dark Phoenix. I don't really know, the trailers really do make no sense. She IS tall though!

The point of this all is that Rie Rasmussen is crazy hot ... and also the trailer was pretty effective considering I had no idea what was happening, because I totally want to see this movie.

It certainly looks interesting ... and pretty. Luc Besson does do a shitload of cool stuff, and even if this isn't his best it'll probably still be decent. Plus I'll love him forever for casting Rasmussen in a leading role (and hopefully raising her profile so she'll get more work, cause I love her).

In any event its guarenteed that they movie will look beautiful, and of course I get to stare at Rasmussen for 2 hours or so, so somehow I think I'll be able to manage.

I almost went to see this but then I read a review in the paper that made me think twice. The actor who plays the grifter seems a little overshadowed by Rie. It's too bad they didn't pick someone with more chemistry to play her counterpart.

She really is. Her legs just seem to go on forever. And she's hot as hell in this trailer, but she's like at least twice as hot if not more so as a brunette. Plus, she's bi so that just makes me love her infinately (especially after Rebecca Romijn said that the way Rie hits on women should be illegal, lol)

He certainly seemed overshadowed by her in the trailer. I mean, I guess the role called for an unimpressive kind of nerdy guy or something, but some actors can do that and still have a huge presence on screen. Unfortunately I don't think this guy is one of those actors. She just looks like she could kick his ass every time you see them together, and I kind of hope she does in the movie because I'm sure it would hilarious ... and well, everyone else in the movie seems to beat him up, so why not?
