fembuckJust what the doctor ordered to cleanse my mind of the horrible acting and fight scenes in BloodRayne and remind me that Kristanna can act, and kick ass in time for Painkiller Jane
Clips is from the 1998 series Mortal Kombat: Conquest. Kris plays a warrior woman, Taja, who at this point is a saucy slave planning (and promptly) escaping from her asshole/rapist master.

The first three minutes of this segment is just pure bad-assery. Taja and Kung Lao kick ass all over the place. Awesome! And because its Kristanna Loken and she can't help but bring the girl!slash, around the 6 min. mark, Taja admits to sneaking out of her cell and up into the bedroom of her masters daughter while blushing and smiling fondly. Aw, so gay.

This is mostly speaking and less action. But it's good acting. No I'm serious!
Also, I have to admit, if I was that guard she tricked I would have fallen for it too! "I'd really like to take a bath, but I'm having some trouble with the top. Would you mind?" I would've been so unconcious if she'd used that line on me.

She totally sells it :p. It's the innocent gamine look. The guard didn't have a chance.

Oh, I know. I can't get over how adorable she is in this role. I love that Taja is a funny, comic relief-y character, cause Kris delivering cute lines rocks. Like her little face when Kung Lao went to kick in the door and she just turned the knob and opened it and was like "makes less noise" and made this cute little face. Loved it.
Looks like I'll be watching the rest of the series on youtube while keeping my eyes open to by the DVDs.
