Icons! (Ugly Betty inspired - Rebecca Romijn and Famke Janssen)

So, my increasing love of Rebecca Romijn as Alexis Meade on Ugly Betty has now increased to a level as to inspire icon making! And because Famke Janssen played the next best dude-turned-lady on TV, namely Ava Moore on Nip/Tuck, I have some RR and FJ icons to celebrate their awesomeness as X-men and Ex-men!

You are single-handedly causing me to turn whatever's left of my brain after the drunken karaoke parties into mush by watching TV shows I would never have watched without your pimping.

I finally watched the first Ugly Betty ep with Rebecca Romijn on abc.com (there's seems to be a kink in the system holding me back from watching the second one. abc.com is not complying and all my attempts to dl the ep have been thwarted by my crappy internet connection).

Anyway, I now completely get the obsession. RR's ridiculously good looking and could totally be on the same all-scandinavian beach volleyball team as Kristanna.

I love the girl with the scottish accent. Seriously irresistible. Who could say no to anything said in that voice?

I could do without the subplot about the case worker (cringe city, what's that about?) and the one about Walter (whatever his story is), but everything else was worth watching esp. the Hilda/Betty scenes.

Anybody who's got a big sis has felt that way esp. during that terrible time when big sis is all tall and beautiful and you're stuck in the slow lane. Oy!

Big sisters rule though :D.

My goodness, that would make beach volley-ball the single greatest sport on earth. 5'11 of Norwegian-American and Dutch-American gorgeousness in bikini hitting a ball over a net. Soawesome!

Oh yeah, Ashley Jensen is great. She was also on this great British comedy show "Extras" by Ricky Gervais who created it and the Britsh "The Office". She was absolutely brilliant as the ditzy Maggie on that show, so good in fact that it always shocks me when Cristina gives Betty all this good advice, lol.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of those plotlines either. The Walter plotline mercifully concludes in the next episode, and the immigration case worker is nowhere to be seen in the next episode so you do get a bit of a reprive.

If you liked Romijn in "I'm Coming Out" then you'll love her in "Brothers and Sisters" the next episode. RR and Alexis really come into their own in that episode. Soawesome!

*sigh* I'm so happy to have someone to share the RR love with!
