*to be updated as the night progresses*
The Oscars
- Daniel Craig always looks so good in a tux
- I heart Maggie Gyllenhaal. I don't care what other people say, I think she's the sexy.
- Loved the Will Ferrel, Jack Black, John C. Rielly musical routine, and the shout outs to Helen Mirren (who is totally looking smoking hot!)
- Abigail and Jayden were cute. The Smith's might need to get him some tutoring though. Still, total cutie
- Jessica Biel and James McAvoy on stage at the same time ... *dies* Mmm, Scottish brogue ... killer arms ... thank you Oscars!
- Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt = love. Not only did they come out on stage holding hands, but then they shared a cute little non-teleprompt enduced smile. Awww, certainly not helping with though rumors girls, butI've got no problem with that.
Also, Meryl Streep is love. The way she played into the skit in total Miranda mode kicked butt.
- OMG, Tom Cruise is skinny again. Still annoying and creepy, but skinny and good looking again.
- Catherine Denvue, still totally Mmm! Ken Wantanabe, also very mmm (I love your tie, Ken. Very dapper). Sexy, sexy accents.
- Mmm, Rinko Kikuchi. So lovely. Not lovely enough to replace my undying love for Gong Li (I will own Hannibal Rising for Gong as Murisaki alone!), but still lovely.
- Mmm, Eva Green (looking like Emily Blunt). So pretty, such an ugly dress. It's okay Eva, I love you even though you can't dress yourself. And I've never really heard Gael Garcia Bernal speak in English before (I've only seen his Spanish language stuff), but I love his surprisingly deep voice.
- Oh, Jerry Seinfeld you speak the truth. I opened my hand just today while (finally) watching Pan's Labyrinth.
- Go Al Gore, it's your birthday! "An Inconvient Truth" won! Yays!
- Mmm, Monica Bellucci. No she wasn't there (that I saw), they just showed some clips from "Malena" during a montage and I was bowed over by the hotness. Even if it was only for a couple seconds. Seriously, why isn't Monica Bellucci in more movies?
- Was that the ridiculously good looking Rashida Jones I spotted with father Quincey? I think it was. Thanks for showing up and being hot Rashida, you were a pleasant surprise. Too bad Monica Bellucci couldn't follow your lead and just show up to look good.
- "The star of Volver, and the Volverine himself, Hugh Jackman" Ewww, Oscars, just ewww. It physically hurt me to hear that.
- Hey, J.Lo, my windows called ... they want their drapes back. Oh, wait ... what's that? That was her dress? Sorry, my bad.
- Jennifer, Beyonce ... you can't both be the divine Ms. Ross, one of you needs to be a Pip! I gotta say though, Jennifer may have one the Oscar, but on stage just now was some of the best acting I've ever seen from Beyonce, smiling at Hudson like she didn't want to scratch her eyeballs out.
-
grdnofevrythng, they totally showed a clip of Bibby! I was squeeing for you. Also, thanks to you I now never refer to Bibby as anything other than Bibby.
- Why'd they pick THAT clip from "Volver" to use for Penelope Cruz? Even Penelope looked like 'wtf' after seeing that shit.
- Annnnd, Winslet STILL hasn't won one. Sorry Kate. Helena Mirren is totally deserving and kicked ass in The Queen though, so ... sorry Kate. Go Helen, looking all ravishing and shit.
- Forrest!!! I was pulling for you big guy! Congrats, man, congrats!

"My Triumphs, My Mistakes" by Gauis Baltar - I love this show
Callie: "What'd he do?"
Tyrel: "Pissed off the President."
Callie: "I didn't know you could get arrested for that."
- Damn straight you can get arrested for that shit when the President is Laura fucking Roslin.
James fucking Callis! Damn good stuff with the Aralon vs. Caprica speech and accent.
Oh Roslin, you always know how to make me love you again. Your "Unions, Yay" speech *heart you*
Oh, sweet hardass Starbuck, as opposed to annoying hardass Starbuck. Such a nice change. I don't know Sealess from jackshit, but I thought that scene was sweet.
Seriously I love Tyrel. He continues to be one of the best characters on the show. And as much as I like Helo, this was a much better "Fighting for Justice" episode than the rather painful Helo one.
