fembuckOkay, so I have a headache and work that I should have started a long time ago, but I must squee over the best back to back Monday line-up ever!
Leigh! OMG, not only did you do something smart, and get face time, but you made me care about you, and got one of the best lines of the night! I'm totally pulling for you now, baby! Also, pretty, so very very pretty.
Ivy and Wendy. Oh, how I love those two. "He's in a safe house, right? That like a house ... that's safe." Oh, well, I guess her name is Ivy, not Ivy League. I totally loved their old married couple bickering over "Surrender, America" with Ivy reading from the guide book and Wendy being all "At least I'm trying!" Awwww. I also love that the supreme bad-ass can't drive. That's what you get when you bum rides off of your friends instead of getting your lazy ass down to the DMV Ivy, that's what you get! Also going along with her not being Ivy League, it wasn't the greatest idea to reveal that she can't drive, because after that Wendy KNOWS that Ivy can't shoot her. That being said, I look forward to seeing Crazy!Awesome Wendy again next week.
Wow, wow, I actually kind of cared about army!couple this week. Well, Rob at least. I still can't stand Ellie, but I felt really bad for Rob. Riley Smith did a really good job with him this week, and Ellie lucky that the only thing that got thrown out of that car was a phone.
Loved Sam and Dean Salazar this week. In fact I really hearted Sean with his mad computer skillz and heroic rescuing of his hermano once again (too bad Dupree was no where in sight!). The coffee shop round table on how to rob the bank was pretty amusing, and reminded me of the 'petty criminals' sitting around Serenity discussing the crime they were about to do. Also, I loved Corinna's smirk when they pulled up to the brothers to ask them to rob the back. Mmm, sexy smirks rule.
I'd wonder what Alex was up to, but the previews showed me, so I'll just say that I'm looking forward to seeing it.
Linderman's a hero! (but I already knew that thanks to yahoo! *gives the finger to yahoo!*)
I'd listen to Nathan to read the phonebook. *hugs Adrian Pasdar* Also, nice to see the Petrellicest back in action. My goodness though two have serious man/brother love for each other. As if the hugging and crying over Peter's body wasn't enough, then their was the "I don't know what I'd do without you ... you complete me ... you make me want to be a better man" speech. Seriously, they're my favorite couple on the show.
What's up with Nessica? Are they blending? Who was in control? The way D.L. was talking it was like he was talking to Niki, but she was acting very Jessica-ish, what with the sass and smirking. And then in the meeting with Linderman the Jessica-hair was being rocked, but then Niki like protectiveness of Micah reared it's head. [Ando]I'm confused[/Ando].
Why did Mystery Sock (um, Mr. Isaac) just wait for Sylar? What was the big plan he came up with to warn people? I guess that'll be explained later but I want to know now! Also, I liked geeky delivery guy. Nice cameo.
Candace continues to be unrepentantly evil. I'm mean, yeah Missy looks good, but I'm getting tired of Candace's shimmer-smirk-sass-walk away routine. Plus, that was a total waste of interaction between Nessica and Candace.
Momma Petrelli gets more interesting every episode. And I'm starting to develop and old!lady crush on her. Does she have powers? Does she have powers? I think so!!! Between Angela's mentions of past misadventures and Linderman's mentions of the same thing, I totally hope that they have a "Heroes the previous generation" special episode where we get to see these characters in their heyday.
Mohinder looked like a hot mess this episode. If they're going to keep making him do stupid, stupid things, then he at least needs to be pretty. And if I never see that apartment set again it will be too see. Seriously, its sooooo dirty, it upsets me to look at it. Get Mohinder a bath, a comb, and a new place with a couple of light-bulbs please.
*sigh* Thank goodness for Bennett or else DoughBoy would have been completely useless once again. Like how stupid is Matt that he's fucking looking around his cell for where the voice is coming from. You're a telepath you idiot! I'd totally dig the Bennett/Ted roadtrip episode, but with DoughBoy tagging along I hope they just get to New York.

Also, next weeks episode looks super kick-ass! (but, is it really necessary to have Nessica make out with Peter. Honestly, there's enough 'too close' going on in that family without them sharing chicks)
Also, Nathan with his dreams of the White House at the end, reminded me a lot of Lex Luther (you know, like a really really sexy Lex Luther)

Date: 2007-04-24 12:35 pm (UTC)Wendy and Ivy are still my favourites and I loved Wendy's look as Ivy handed her the gun from the glove compartment. I'm just kind of worried they'll be split up soon, with Ivy teaming up with Leigh - as in the credits - and their whole crazy double-act will be lost.
Sean's geeky skills finally make him interesting and I love how he was all 'I need quiet' to both his brother and Corinna.
The army couple still bore me even if I do feel a little sorry for the man for having such a dumb wife.
