I don't know how long the episode actually was, but it felt like it went on for approximately a hundred gazillion hours.

The only thing that surprised me about it was that Mean Girl was a brunette under that head scarf.

I was amused by Karen Cliche picking up Mean Girl, throwing her over her shoulder and walking away. It was deliciously cavewoman-ish, and I would slash the two characters based on that scene. I can just imagine who Karen "disciplined" Mean Girl back on Mongo, lol. Of course, I would have to care about the show and keep on watching it to do that which isn't going to happen unless 1) Someone informs be that Karen Cliche and Dale (Gina Holden) get a lot of subtexty screen time together or ... um, actually that's the only way.

Also, I'm irriationally mad at the show because I got Flash Gordon confused with The Flash and I was waiting like the entire episode for him to get his super powers and start running really quickly.

Mostly, however it reminded how entertaining Flesh Gordon was.

P.S. Was it just me, or was everyone saying IMAX instead of IMEX. The whole episode, I was like "I know where the IMAX is! It's on Richmond Street and I saw Order of the Phoenix there like two weeks ago!"

Yep, that's the right actress. She was also very dashing on Young Blades (though I'll admit I only saw a few episodes of that).

Yeah, I know right!?! Like as soon as I saw the show advertised I thought he must have superpowers, and then the show started out with him winning a marathon so I thought "superspeed" and then ... nada! Honestly, I could give a shit about Mongo, and Ming The Anglo with a Confusingly Asian name, or Flash's stupid Dad, I don't wanna watch that every week.

Someone needs to tell Gina that playing fourth-fiddle to Christina Cox is way better than this will ever be.

Ha! So true. After watching for what seemed like an eternity, I went off to do other things. And when I came back, I thought that I had wandered into the repeat showing, but it was still the same darn one.

lol, I find it highly amusing that everyone but me thinks Flash Gordon sucked.

Well, that's -insert number of minutes- I'll never get back.

The thing I loved about the old Flash Gordon was how utterly campy it used to be but this lacks even that. And their Ming just doesn't cut it when compared to THIS.
