Dexter, Dexter, you so fine, you so fine you blow my mind ... DEXTER!

Seriously, I love this show.

*hearts Maria so much* Not only is LaGuerta crazy!mad!sexy!hot but she's all with the being cool and in control, and being all woman!power and schooling the Captain and NOT flirting with Dexter. Not only that, but she's kind of bring the femslash with not only Deb, but Esme too (though Esme totally doesn't deserve her). Goddamn, I love LaGuerta!

Jamie Murray! I've been waiting for you to show up good-looking! Loved Lila's coffee talk with Dexter, and I'm interested to see how their relationship is going to develop. I honestly hope that she won't come between him and Rita though (*hugs Dexter/Rita*), being a homewrecker is pretty much the only thing that could make me hate this character. *pets Jamie* So pretty ... and British and darkly predatory.

Seska! The Star Trek geek in me was also pleased to see Martha Hackett (aka Seska) show up. I loved Seska *le sigh*

Deb continues to break my heart. Jennifer Carpenter is so good. I love that she made that connection at the end though, and might be getting back on her game. I hope they don't hook her up with Keith Carradine though. That might be a bit much for me to take, and honestly, the girl could use some alone time.

I liked backbone!Rita. And I loved that it's being acknowledged that Dexter definitely has feeling for Rita and the kids. Him stabbing that guy while saying "Don't talk about my girlfriend like that" should not have been romantic, but it so totally was.

*sighs* Dexter. That's good watching!

Oh God, I love Dexter so much it hurts!! This show made me get teary-eyed over a serial killer!! I think that's what I love so much, they never gloss over Dexter's darkness and that he's a monster. And yet, he's so incredibly *human*, which makes him so compelling and watchable.

Yes! Despite her bravado, Deb's nothing but exposed nerve endings and raw emotions. She was 'broken' long before Rudy/Brian came along trying to compete for her father's affections for all the wrong reasons. But, like Carradine pointed out, she's stronger and smarter than she realizes, and that's what's going to put her back together again and make Deb step out of Harry and Dexter's shadow to become her own person.

I'd also point out, had it not been for Deb, Dexter never would have developed 'feelings' for Rita and the kids. Whether or not this will be enough for him to choose humanity over his 'dark passenger' remains to be seen.

*sigh* Obviously I thought about this.. alot!!

So true. I mean, I thought it was romantic when he stabbed that guy for bad-mouthing Rita. And his desperate knocking and genuine happiness when he went to tell Rita he went back to the meetings. He's just so ... Dexter *hugs*

Such a perfect description of Deb right now.

I'm really looking forward to seeing Deb's storyline play out season. I think watching her heal and come into her own will be a beautiful, captivating thing to see.

Obviously I thought about this.. alot!!

How could you not? This show = So good!
