Another winner!   This week on Gossip Girl: 

Numerous Waldsen moments, funny!Blair, sad!Blair, happy!Blair, cute!Blair ... sexy!Serena, flirting with girls!Serena, caressing Blair's face!Serena, adorable bumbling!Dan, pretty oh so very pretty!Vanessa, flirting with girls!Vanessa, Chuck so much awesome from Chuck ... and mercifully very little Nate around Blair though he still managed to make her cry.  They also found someone besides Chuck that Nate can have screen time with and not make me want to claw my eyes out. 

Favorite Moments:

- OMG! Confession!Blair is the best! Plus, Blair taking off her mourning veil and putting on her sunglasses was hotness personified.

- Giddy Blair is so cute

- Serena and Blair entering her party hand-in-hand after Serena chivalrously picked her up (*cough*DATE*cough*). Serena kissing Blair's forehead (*cough*UST*cough*). And then Serena grabbing Blair's hand again as soon as possible.

- Serena speaking Japanese badly.

- I don't think Dan knows his calculus. Things totally don't work that way dude!

- Serena and Vanessa's "Guitar Hero-off". Seriously! Blake was too effing hot rocking and playing the hell outta that fake guitar.  I was like "Damn, Daaayum" over and over again during that scene.  Serena knowing she's hot and milking it is ... hot.

- Serena comforting sad!Blair. The scene broke my heart because Blair was sad. But Serena's caressing Blair's cheek not once, but twice and and the hug made my Waldsen heart flutter.

- "You're guys"?  OMG, Blake what was that?  I love you, but you've gotta start to enunciate *shakes head in Blake's general direction*

- Serena and Vanessa flirting bonding. They're just so pretty to look at standing near each other.

- Chuck giving Blair the necklace she wanted for her birthday. Pretty much everything that had to do with Chuck this episode but especially, "Something this beautiful deserves to be on someone worth of it's beauty," as he put the necklace on Blair followed by a gentle kiss to her shoulder. Dude, I totally would have made out with him after that as well.

- Serena's odd reaction to seeing Blair and Chuck kissing. Seriously, she looked like she walked in on her girlfriend kissing someone else ... oh wait ... Seriously, though it was a very bizarre reaction. I mean, it's not like she thinks Nate is so great (*cough*Cheating douchebag, though obviously it would be awkward for her to bring that up*cough*), and Blair was in charge of the kiss so it wasn't like Chuck was attacking her ... why so heartbroken S? Did you finally realize who truly owns your heart?

Favorite Quotes:

Blair (in confession): After being broken up with myself for a grand total of 20 minutes, I succumbed to inebriation, performed at a speakeasy, and surrendered my virtue to a selfabsorbed ass. The only good news is that he's a total pig who'll pretend like it never happened ... thank god.

(and the entire rest of that scene. Leighton is a goddess. Seriously, she can do no wrong. I love everything about her and Blair)

Nate: My mom.
Chuck: Sounds Freudian.

Blair to Serena: (upon seeing Vanessa for the first time) Oh sweetie, you did NOT tell me she looked like that. This is such a problem.
(OMG, Leighton I love you! I love how Leighton brings the gay - she was even leaning against Blake as she delivered the line. She was totally like "S, honey, her milkshake brings the boys to the yard, we gotta make sure yours is better than hers ... I'll teach you and I totally won't charge.")

Blair: If you've come to collect forget about it.
Chuck: Turn around.
Blair: You get grosser by the second.

OK. ONce again, I haven't seen it, but I'd like to say this about the Blair to Serena quote near the end.

Serena's reply should have very well been, "But it's not a problem. I am the van der Woodsen! I'm hot enough for you. What would Dan have to be smoking to think she's hotter than me?"

Blake's ass is a thing of beauty. There's a really nice ass shot in this episode as well, and to make it even better it's followed by hot Waldsen hugging!

Also, you know Blair was totally trying to get Serena to prove how hot she is by making out with her when she said that. Oh, Blair, I love the way your mind works.

All of the Waldsen is made of win. And Serena rockin' GH was really too hot words. Sex was just radiating off of her in that scene ... it was good viewing *nods and smiles* Really good viewing.

And though Serena flirting with a girl is hotness, I don't think Blair would be too happy if it wasn't her!

It's okay, you know that Blair could totally take Vanessa in a throw down fight for Serena. Vanessa might be more street, but Blair would stop at nothing for her woman. If I was Vanessa I'd go back to ignoring Serena, because the releasing how cool Serena is and flirting with her is gonna get her eyes plucked out!

The little Waldsen moments in the episode are very, very nice. I squeed every time.

I'm becoming more and more of a Chuck fan every episode. And this storyline with Blair, is only making me like him more. They play off of each other very well, and their conversations are hilarious. When you have the two bitchiest characters on screen together it's always fun times.

Leighton... *sigh* man, I love her.

And the writers seem to enjoy the subtext as well because that hug at the first Waldsen scene: totally innecessary. But who cares, bring it up!
And finally....Serena, seriously...flirting with Vanessa like that? *shakes head* shame on you, I'm aware that she is hot and all but it kind of hurt my loyal Waldsen heart.

Loved this exchange, the whole scene really. These two characters play off of each other so well. There's always tons of quotable's when they're on screen together.

I totally love to think that it was a Blake adlib. Waldsen and Bleighton merging together is like the greatest ever. And really, I can't see that having been a stage direction. The script probably said something like "Act happy and giggly" and Blake and Leighton translated that to kissing and holding hands, lol

lol. I found the Serena/Vanessa flirting hot, because I am shallow, and I know that Vanessa is only a distract and S's heart led her back to Blair soon after. If Blair is gonna make out with Chuck then Serena can flirt and have Guitar Hero foreplay with Vanessa.

And well, as long they don't start again with the S vs B thing I'm happy. Serena can have her own nemesis on Vanessa and not in Blair as far I'm concerned. Because it all about teh Waldsen, all begins and ends there.

The script probably told them to act happy and giggly, and Blake totally just translated that into hand holding, kissing and constant physical contact. And that's why I love Blake (and Leighton, because you know she totally didn't even blink an eye because that's what it's like when she and Blake hang out), lol.

lol, I know. He's got this way of talking, and standing, and looking at people that is so dirty ... and yet now that I'm liking Chuck more ... kind of hot. I loved that even Blair was like "You get grosser by the second" when he said something to her, and he actually wasn't being dirty for once (though I love that Blair's mind automatically went to the naughty place).

Just saw the ep. It was as delicious as the previous one, ut with more Waldsen potential! That look on Serena's face at the end is so calling for Waldsen fic. It's like S knew all along Nate was no match for her with B, but Chuck's going to be another story.

I know! I mean, there's really only one way to read the devastation on her face, and that's heartbreak. I don't have any idea how non-Waldsener's would interpret her reaction. She looked utterly crushed. I mean you could argue she realized Blair was making a huge mistake, but there was no reason for her reaction to be so extreme unless she was totally hoping to ease Blair's pain with HER lips.

He's so Blair bitch, at least as long as she doesn't want anything from him. It's beautiful to see Blair completely keeping him on his toes.

So true. I'm loving "pining" Chuck right now, and stringing him along Blair. I'm having fun with them, though I know the writers are going to be dragging out the Blair/Nate thing which is SO boring. Nate is so boring. I just feel like pouring a pot of coffee down Chace's throat and injecting him with Red Bull. The boy always looks like he's about to fall asleep mid-sentence.

News, but today, Kristin dos Santos was telling viewers what to expect from November sweeps, and she said, about Gossip Girl, that we could expect some same-sex action that's bound to happen! (And I don't know why, but almost instantly my mind screamed "WALDSEN!!!")

I'm finally caught up with GG and I'm loving it. Consciously, subconsciously, unconsciously. All the consciously's actually. You know I don't discriminate.

There's just so much gay and pretty! And it's so consistently gay and pretty! Consistence when it comes to gay pretty sets my heart a flutter.

And I agree with you on all the good het pairings. It's just hard not to find them cute or hot. And Chuck is the cutest douche bag ever. Though I do think that Blair can make any pairing hot. I love watching her make out with people. She's just really good at it. Blair is love.

Though I am highly thankful that there wasn't an lot of Nate/Blair action. Nate's possibly the gayest character on this show simply because he's turned down Blair repeatedly. You have to be a gay, gay... really gay man to turn down Blair, especially when she's looking as hot as she does when she's in the mood for seduction. Blair has me so whipped. I love this show.
