Hereos 2x04 - The Kindness of Strangers
Oct. 15th, 2007 10:02 pmNo Niki ... how completely not surprising.
Maya remembers how to smile ... before crying again!
Sylar's evil (and looks good in a tank top)
Nathan shaved.
Parkman's an ass.
I like Monica (is "I learned it on TV" the new "I know Kung Fu"? It is for me!). Also, was it just me or was she channeling S1 Peter with all of her doe eyed "I'm meant for something more than this" talk?
Micah looks older. The hug was sweet, but what was with the close up of his hand on her back? Was it meaningful, or just another example of Heroes being creepy with family dynamics?
West is still creepy even when he's not actively being an ass (was creepy!West the one responsible for those wind chimes jingling, or was it the Haitian?)
Parkman's dad is an ass too. Niiiiice.
Angela stepping up to the plate for the episodes inappropriate relative chemistry! Niiiice.
No Niki (yeah, I know I mentioned it before, but someone has to remember she exists)
---
Um, yeah ... still mostly bored. Monica was like the only thing that genuinely kept my attention this episode. Although I do like that they've gone back to the murder mystery (and that we got to see Nathan!) and that we're getting some info on Freddy!Parkman and learning a bit more about the Golden Age heroes.
Next week ... the return of Niki (let's hope she gets to do more than walk dramatically), Veronica Mars, Peter's Lucky Charms, and Journeyman Tokyo Drift.
*has no expectations*
Come on Heroes, please stop sucking and get exciting again!
