Rex (Sigourney Weaver) and Angie (Zoe Saldana) were totally doing each other, right?  Cause nobody is that spicy with their boss unless they're doing them, right?

*thoughtful silence*

Yeah, they were totally doing it.  I mean, Sigourney's character was named Rex.   I don't even think there's any sub to that text.

Other thoughts on 'Vantage Point':

-  The cast was very pretty.  I mean Ayelet Zurer, Eduardo Noriega, Edgar Ramirez, Sigourney, and of course Zoe Saldana (mmm, Zoe Saldana) and Matthew Fox (oh, Matthew Fox, I forgot how sexy and dashing you can be when you're not playing Jack.  I am now very much looking forward to seeing you in Speed Racer now that I've remembered you can be foxy and non-annoying!)

- Every single plot point was completely predictable.

- The groans of the audience every time the screen when black and 11:59 am flashed on screen was amusing.

- The projectionist at the theater I went to was a moron and only half of the subtitles were visible.  That being said, I learned that you can follow subtitles even if you can only see the upper half of the words.  It's just not fun.

- Forrest Whitker's character is the black, male Jessica Fletcher who writes less and runs more.

- The ending ... YEAH RIGHT!   What kind of way is that to resolve the plot?  UGH!

- Richard T. Jones (aka Agent Ellison from Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) was in it.  LENA HEADEY (wasn't, but seeing him made me think of her, which was fun)

- Denis Quaid and William Hurt brought the man-love.  They totally brought to mind Costner and Houston in "The Bodyguard" and I'm not even joking about this.  It was kind of beautiful.  And provided me the opportunity to lean over and sing the chorus of  "I Will Always Love You", which was fun.

Overall, I didn't hate it.  It wasn't good, but I didn't hate it.  I was entertained throughout but that was probably just because we mocked it the entire time we were watching it.  If you go with someone you can crack jokes with then you should find it to be a pretty good time killer, but if you actually like to watch something that's good this is ... not it.

Just when I start to think I'm over her she does something incredibly sexy and draws me back under her spell. I can't say that I resist very hard though, under her *cough* um, spell is a delightful place to be.

Well then a fox you shall be until I find your name, my foxy lady... )

*sigh* If only we had gotten Megan on Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles as like Danielle Reese or something instead of BAG as Derek. That would have made SCC like the Holy Trinity of Hotness.  If this had happened, I think that every time the show came on that I would have cried a little, just because it was so beautiful.

*goes to watch Transformers again*

Title: After Hours
Author: Janine
Fandom: Vantage Point
Pairing: Rex/Angie
Disclaimer: I don’t own them.
Summary: Angie and Rex share some quality time together before Spain. No spoilers.
*Note* Rex (Sigourney Weaver) is the News Director for GNN and Angie (Zoe Saldana) is a field correspondent. Short fic, but I just couldn't resist slashing them. They were so totally secret lovers.
