It looks like my type of show and I like JJ's work.  I'll be there.  Plus it stars Anna Torv (a.k.a 'Gay!Alex who helped Jess find her inner 'mo' on Mistresses)  who I've adored since Mistresses and think is super!hot.  It's gonna be weird seeing her make out with someone who isn't Shelley Conn though.  And by weird I mean disappointing, because Jess/Alex was *makes clawing motion with hand*

Joshua Jackson is also a selling point.

So in conclusion, this seems like good post-TSCC viewing.

Thanks for the heads up! And thank you, thank you, thank you ... ah, iheartTandS! That video is sick! The beginning with the guy singing and the clips of them at the club, were awesome. That club scene is like dream!van der Sparks. It's where the obsession was born from. Guh, I love it.

The song is perfect as well. As you said, not Portishead, but still totally awesome.

I was happy to see there were some other van der Sparks videos up on youtube as well, though this one is my favorite.

I know! It took seeing this one to make me realize that the van der Sparks!vid movement had already taken off, but I still dig this one the most.

Dude, I've combo'd so many Portishead tracks with your van-der-Sparks-in-all-of-their-written-glory, and have ultimately concluded that the pairing can't be beat. Other songs are interesting though when it comes to visual!van der Sparks.

I have to say, this promo intrigued me *way* more than the Dollhouse trailer which, had I not known it was an official trailer, I would have thought was a fan made trailer, ie, not very good.

At this point, it's not so much Fringe vs. Dollhouse for me as much as 'which Exec. Producer will become disinterested first leaving the show in less than capable hands'. And with Abrahms being Mr. Blockbuster, all signs point to Fringe in that category.. it's not like Whedon's been doing much besides writing comics. At least now Whedon has no other projects to distract him.

Well, that and they're both on FOX meaning one of them's going to get yanked *way* before its time!
