Virtuality amassing the best cast ever?

So, Virtuality (Ron "Battlestar Galactica" Moore's) new show for FOX, is pretty much amassing a wet dream of a cast.
For your consideration:
1. Sienna "Jill Valentine" Guillory.
I was going to watch because the plot sounds cool, and it's Ron Moore. But I'm just doubly excited now, because I love me some Sienna Guillory (I watched Eragon for her people, Eragon! *shudder*).
2. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau was just cast as the lead.
Not only is he insanely handsome, he makes a very likable lead. He's pretty much the only reason I watched New Amsterdam.
3. Jimmi "Scud" Simpson is in it.
SCUD! Not only is he the god of bingo, he's always funny. Wicked ass comic relief component = check
4. Nelson "Shen" Lee! Shen!
*mourns for Blade: The Series once more ... FUCK YOU SPIKE TV! I HATE YOU FOREVER!*
If I can't have Jill or Jessica on my TV weekly, Nelson is a nice substitute :D
5. Joy Bryant.
I can only really remember seeing her in The Skeleton Key with Kate Hudson (oh, wait. That's a lie, she was also in Honey with J Alba, but I like to pretend that movie never existed ... except for breaking out "I teach hip hop down at the centah" every once in a while), but I liked her in it and she sure is pretty.
6. James D'Arcy.
He's been in a shit load of things and has an awesome name, but I am fond of him because he was in Rise with Lucy Liu and Carla Gugino, and when I think of him I remember Lucy and Carla making out covered in blood together. Ah, fuzzy memories.
Wet dream? Y/Y?
Also, not only is the casting awesome so far, but the show just sounds frakking cool. Details about the show
In conclusion, totally looking forward to!

Reading the details makes me riled up with righteous indignation already! Methinks that's a good sign.

This is like an immutable truth. Simpson is always good.

Heh! Yeah. I'm definitely looking forward to this one.

Date: 2008-06-27 02:43 am (UTC)Now she's going to be on my TV (maybe?) so yay! FOX is pouring on the hotness this year. Lena, Summer, Eliza, Tricia, Emily, Jennifer, and Olivia. Yeah, I'm sure there's more. But thinking of all the hotness broke my brain.

I have to say, that I'm liking whoever is in charge of FOX right now. If Dollhouse, Virtuality, and SCC make it this year I might stop referring to FOX as FUX.
I am shamed though, which Jennifer is it on the list of lady hotness? Everyone else I got, but I'm drawing a blank on this one.

If Dollhouse, Virtuality, and SCC make it this year...
Don't forget Inseperable! Really, I just want another excuse to Tricia to be on my TV every week ;) [on a side note related to the article: OMG YAY for Michaela McManus joining SVU! I was totally bummed that Novak was leaving but now YAY!Michaela and I CANNOT WAIT!]
which Jennifer is it on the list of lady hotness?
Morrison. Dr. Cameron from House.

Date: 2008-06-27 04:06 am (UTC)LOL. Seriously. That movie was so bad. The only reason I finished watching it was because of Sienna (and Garret Hedlund) ... well, and Rachel Weisz's sexy voice (seriously, I dragon should not sound that fuckable)

But what a way to go! Seriously, this is a problem I'm more than happy to deal with, lol

Date: 2008-06-27 04:08 am (UTC)Totally. A support group is definitely needed. Plus, it'll be nice to squee about the hotness with other people who actually know who Sienna Guillory is (because she is NOT the same person as Sienna Miller, she is just not General Population)

Totally. Guillory ensures that I'll be there, but having the show actually be good (which I'm sure it will be with Ron "The Second Coming of Whedon" Moore at the helm)is a definite bonus!

Date: 2008-06-28 04:57 pm (UTC)What was Jill doing? I wanna know, but I don't wanna read the book.
*bows down to Ron Moore* He truly is a gem.

Date: 2008-06-29 10:06 am (UTC)Basically Jill turns herself in to the Feds to lead them away from the others. She ends up helping the government by explaining how to take zombies down. After the outbreak, thanks to some major trust issues, she'd drop off any survivors she found to Carlos, preferring to remain alone. Eventually she ends up in Baltimore and helps a small community there take down this gang that was keeping all the food and supplies to themselves.
So yeah, at least there is always the chance that Alice will find Jill or you know one of her clones will, since there are now enough Alices for the entire human race.
Oh and there was this one part in the book where Jill mentions that her sawed-off shot gun always reminded her of Alice. How sweet.
