If so do you find Elisabeth Sladen to be as hot as I do (and are you weirding yourself out a little bit with it ... but not enough to stop kind of perving on her?)?

*sigh* I'd like to think Sarah Jame Smith is a lot like who Emma Peel would have aged. Mmm, Emma Peel.

Also, does anyone else think that she looks a LOT like Mary McDonnell? She's like Laura Roslyn before Roslyn got all hard core and airlock loving. She's even got a sexier younger man as a possible romantic interest (why must I be contrary, and like Laura/Lee, more than Laura/Bill ... especially when this is about the only thing that I like about Lee?)

P.S.  For the Torchwood fans out there, the Hardcore Victorian Torchwood Ladies from "Fragments" were gay0r each other right?  *sigh*  Victorian Torchwood looked like so much fun.  Fancy bonnets, electrodes, old fancy equipments, shooting people because they've out lived their usefulness, spanking for naughty and/or incorrigible behaviors, fancy writing ... *dreamy sigh*

I know! Gurlfren is 60! And yet every time I see Sarah Jane Smith I want her to be my girlfriend *sigh*

OMG, you need to watch it! It's totally addictive. I didn't think that I was going to like it as much as I did, but I totally fell in love with it. I actually like it better than Torchwood. The pilot episode is just okay, but once you get into the series itself it's great :D

What kind of weirds me out is that I've been watching Elizabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane since I was about four and I think I've always had a bit of a crush on her. I can still remember watching her last scene with Tom Baker and how devastating it was to realise she wouldn't be on the TARDIS any more.

The Victorian Torchwood ladies definitely had their gay on (maybe it's a prerequisite for joining the team?)

I only got into Dr. Who with Nine so I've missed a lot of the mythology (and apparently hot companions). The strange thing about Sladen though is that I've seen clips of her younger self, and I think she's hotter now *scratches head*

lol, yes! I thought so. I liked the sassy brunette one best, with her "he's pretty"'s and her lounging behind blondie like a spoiled persian cat. Hot.

I wasn't into it initially, but when they showed her in the finale of Doctor Who, I decided to find all the eps and watch. For supposedly a kids show, it's not bad.

I was exactly the same way. I saw the pilot a while back (did it start as a mini or something?), but when the regular episodes started popping up I didn't watch them for some reason. But after seeing her on the Dr Who finale, I was like "I should check that show out" and fell in love with it (and Lis, lol)

Yes *hangs head* I actually didn't realize what an age difference there was until I looked up the actors ages, so I doubt that it will actually happen, but I totally wouldn't mind Sarah Jane and Allan hooking up (in the last season of the show). She can stay sassy and single for now though ;)
