fembuckGossip Girl can rest secure. This show isn't anywhere near it's level of genius.
Annie is trying hard to be fun!Serena, but Shenae Grimes is not as charming as Blake Lively when she's being goofy.
AnnaLynne McCord is smokin' hot (and reminds me of Vanessa Ferlito, which only helps with the smokin' hot factor), but Naomi isn't even the same stratesphere as Blair Waldorf (she's not even anywhere near Georgina Sparks ... hell, she's not even Little J).
The adventures of Aunt Becky and family remind me of South of Nowhere, only Annie isn't hot for Silver (though Silver may be hot for her. Keep up the eye fucking Jessica Stroup, it becomes you). And we all know that Spencer and Ashley were what made SoN worth watching. And speaking of SoN, Naomi isn't even Madison!
I've been loving on Kellan Lutz because of the set photos of him being adorable and smiley with fans, so I wasn't digging the "George is a complete douche nozzle"-ness. Though, I did get a kick out of the scene with him and Naomi because AnnaLynne McCord is a pretty good match for Rosalie looks wise in Twilight, and of course Kellan is Emmett ... so that scene was fun for me.
Shannon Doherty was NOT fierce. I am disappointed.
Jessica Walters was the best thing about the show. Tabitha is a riot. She's Lucille Bluth with her claws slightly retracted, but even a lesser Lucille Bluth is still awesome.
Ethan = not cute. I get a very "Dan Humphrey" feeling from him, down to the curly hair and hypocrisy and I don't think I'm gonna like him much. Also, the actor has no charisma.
Hey, Aunt Becky/Black Canaray. You're still hot. Too bad you had nothing to do (well, except rock though jeans in the 'match book' scene).
Also, Scruffy teacher dude is a total prick, and I am already dreading his inevitable hook up with Naomi. (After his attitude, and their little tiff at the bar, I'm already half convinced they've done it). Dude is a sex predator, I'm calling it! Stay away Kelly, stay away!
I probably won't keep watching for long though (unless Silver really is hot for Annie, and used to have a thing going with Naomi before theybroke up stopped being friends)

I agree with the rest. I loved seeing Shannon, I hope we to see her fierceness soon. And was Kelly always that perky?

It had a def SON vibe while trying too hard to be like Gossip Girl.
Trufax. It was like a less charming/smart/daring version of both. Ashley Davies > Silver, Spencer/Serena > Annie, Blair/Madison > Naomi, Dan Humphrey > Ethan (and it pains me to say that!), Nate >>>> Rich Singing Dude. Rufus > Principal!Dad. Hell, Lori Laughlin's hot, but so are Maeve Quinlan and Kelly Rutherford so it doesn't even get points there.

I know, I was actually paying attention during that. I'm still hoping Silver is actually gayish. All of her drama revolved around girls so *crosses fingers* Plus, the way Naomi took her back talk at the Peach Pit really was very 'ashamed ex ... I'm getting what I deserve for hurting you'.

I was thinking the same thing. They need to tune her down. She was a bit much to take.
