True Blood - 1x11 - To Love is to Bury

1.  Pam!  Every episode should start out with Pam being a funny, fierce bish!  Yeah, okay, she was mostly in the scene for exposition ("once she's in the dirt the transformation begins", etc.) but she's a hot as hale exposition fairy, and we got to see a little more of her personality.  I wasn't really surprised that she views Eric as having saved her, and that he's like her vampire!jesus or something, but it was nice to hear things confirming it coming out of her mouth.

Bill:  Sometimes I doubt you were ever human.
Pam:  Thank you

Pam: I'll tuck you in *starts throwing dirt on top of Bill*

2.  I hate Sookie.  I hate her.  She is stupid.  She is as stupid as Jason.  How the hell long was Bill gone, like two days?  And she gets mad at him and assumes he's dead.  "If he cares more about vampire politics than me"  THE FUCK?  Bitch, he was on trial because he SAVED YOUR LIFE!  And then recinding his invitation like five seconds after finding out he is still alive?  WHAT PLANET ARE YOU FROM SOOKIE?  I don't even like Sookie and Bill together, but this was just stupid.  Bill ... you can do better man.  Anyone would be better.  *wishes Bill had met a younger Adele*

3.  Ro Laren Helena Cain Michelle Forbes.  I didn't think it could happen, but I think I loved Maryann more than Pam this episode (forgive me, bb.  Forgive me).  This woman is like a fine wine, she's just getting better with age.  And she like acts the fuck out of everything I see her in.  I was thinking about it in her scenes this episode, and there was like no trace of Helena Cain, or Miranda Zero or other characters I had seen her act in Maryann.  Magical!

Tara didn't stand a chance againt the epic charm of this woman, with her pseudo-hippie shirts, and her silken hair, and her easy smile, and her hint of a southern accent. 

Also, "I get dirty, too" UNF!  UNF to infinity plus one.  Also, also that smirk she gave when Andy was all like "I'm surrounded by idiots and assholes" was devilish.  Maryann's gon' fuck you up Andy!  She is.  I call it.

Also, also ... when Maryann closed the door to her house after Tara walked in, all I could think about was this picture I'd seen on seriousfic's page earlier on:

3.  Ding dong the bitch is dead!  Thank GAWD!  *waves*  Won't miss you.

4.  Tara's right, Lettie Mae is an evil bitch.  Did Tara fuck up?  Yes.  But she did partly trying to protect that woman's new soul (if she'd gotten into the car and vented to her mother after learning about Miss Jeanette, I doubt Tara would have gone all Prom 2001 on the town), but Tara has sacrificed SO much for that woman.  That whole scene was just heartbreaking.  *gives Lettie Mae the withering glare that used to be directed at Amy*

5.  Layfayette rocks my socks.  Him yelling at the TV as he painted his nails at the bar cracked me up.  Not to mention that he was hot as hale when he confronted that Senator.  "Be careful ya hear" RAWR.  Also, Terry's "I can't listen to politicians anymore.  I get a seizure" made me laugh forever.  If it's not Obama Obama Obama I pretty much feel the same way (although I suspect Terry meant that literally, lol)

5.  Poor, stupid Jason.  I actually felt like of bad for him in the police station.  At least the Sherrif doesn't seem as dumb as Andy and is clearly less than convinced by Jason's confession.

6.  Bill and Jessica were kind of amusing.  She was a huge brat though.  I hope she calms down next time we see her.  She was amusing at first but then started to bug.  Bill's exasperation with her was hilarious though.

7.  Still not feeling Eric.  I think it's entirely due to the hair, because usually I like Sarsgaard.

See I didn't get that too.

Sucky can be annoying and childish and shrill at times, but usually I can at least understand where she's coming from. She was INEXPLICABLE this episode. Nothing, absolutely nothing she did made sense. It was just ridiculous. He was gone TWO days, and only ONE night (the night of the tribunal).

I didn't like the fact that she was kissing a guy that she knows her friend has feelings for. Sookie was just pissing me off left and right in this episode.

Oh, I know. Just two more people pulling down their pants and shitting all over Tara. Seriously, worse friend ever. The way they didn't even really care where Tara was after letting her drive off drunk the night before was ridiculous too. Sam and Sucky were both absolutely hateful this episode. The only person worse than them is Lettie Mae (well, at least now that Amy's dead)

Maryann is one of those ladies, the kind where you know she's up to no good, but instead of telling her no, all that's coming out of your mouth is yes.

This. It's like I know she's probably evil as hell, but I want her to do things to my naked body, lol

she thought being a vampire, is all kinds of glamorous and sexy. Only to find out you'll just be living your life exactly the way you've been living it, FOREVER. Bill is such a buzz kill.

Well, now that Bill handed her over to Eric maybe she'll have some fun. I think Eric would totally let her do some dancing at Fangtasia, and you know Pam would totally be willing to introduce her to sexin' hot vampire (or vampurr as that old black man who likes his pie would say) style.

Bill was an incredible buzz kill though. Worst. Maker. Ever. His fuddiduddiness was amusing though. And Jessica WAS really annoying.

However, I still want flashbacks of Pam and Eric.

Oh, I'd be all over this shit. I wanna see Victorian era Pam. Eric would have to pull his hair back for those scenes too, and so would probably look good, lol
