So, I've just started watching the BBC's Merlin  - which I highly recommend.  It is embarrassingly enjoyable (kinda like old school Xena) and full of slash of all sorts.  It also provides oodles and ooldes of eye!candy of the male and female variety.  Plus Giles is in it!  Bionic!fail Michelle Ryan also shows up.  

But I digress.
 
Essentially, Morgana is totes my new tv!girlcrush.  The first episode she was freaking me out though, cause I was like you look familiar and yet, I do not know you.  And then it was like *thwack*  Keira Knightley + Nikki Reed = Morgana (aka Katie McGrath)

Nope, not that version. This one is a TV series focused on a young Merlin and Arthur. The first season just ended.

I had no idea of version of Merlin existed with Lena, Helena AND Miranda Richardson though, and now I am totally gonna watch that shit, cause I love those bitches! Thanks for mentioning it :D

Katie McGrath is totally my girlcrush now <3<3 so so much she's like Lena Headey + Keria Knightley and Nikki Reed with an Irish accent that gets to wear gauntlets and ridiculous necklaces and has the most adorable maidservant ever!!

That being said. Merlin/Arthur/Morgana/Gwen is my new Non Judging Breakfast Club OT4. it's insane.

I'm just about to watch the last episode now after a mini-marathon and I am hooked. I'm loving this show! I'm so sad that I'm almost out of new episodes. And it is SO GHEY! It is crazy gay. And I love this show before having both F/F and M/M. It's like everyone wins!

I mean, I'd have loved it just for giving me copious amounts of Katie McGrath (not to mention all of the walking shots of Katie McGrath and her fabulous, fabulous rack), but the slash just makes everything so much better!

I'll admit, I don't know that much about Arthurian legend, but I'm liking what their doing. When that Druid boy was all like "Mordred" I was like, "awww, shiiiiiit". And I enjoyed the making of Excalibur quite a bit too.
