I’ll get this out of the way first … NO PAM *sobs* Thinks about the awesomeness of Pam and nu!non-annoying! Jessica meeting *more sobs* Thinks about the hotness of Pam and nu!GorgeousJessica together *sobs harder* *pulls self together*

Actually, despite the fact that there was no Pam, I really enjoyed tonight’s episode.

First of all, I continue to love Tara and Maryann around each other. I honest to god thought that Maryann was going to try and plant on one Tara in the kitchen after Tara announced that she was moving in with Sookie. That was maybe the seconded sexiest hug that I’ve seen on TV, surpassed on by the Octavia/Servilia hug on Rome. Maryann’s creepiness kept it from being 100% awesome, but it was still good stuff.

And, even though I know it was Maryann being a creeper again, I liked that she showed up for Tara’s birthday, with a wedding cake!

Also, it seems Rutina has a ‘no boobs’ clause in her contract. I’m kind of happy that someone in the cast does, but also I’m sad for me.

Sookie was a passable friend, ‘big sister’ and girlfriend in this (the only scene where she annoyed me was that one with Sam, and I’m willing to chalk that up mostly to Sam). Seriously writers, can we please keep this relatively tolerable version of Sookie going please. She was a good friend to Tara, she was kind and thoughtful about Jessica (calling Bill on being a vampophobe and telling him that it would be a good idea to bring Jessica along, finding Jessica’s giggling at her fangs showing funny, etc.) I’m really, really surprised by how much I actually enjoyed Sookie this week, I won’t even call her ‘Sucky’ once.

Jessica continues to win me over. I’m really liking her this year. From her embarrassed giggling when she realized her fangs were showing, to her not being able to bust her way out of the travel coffin and just falling on the ground, to her gleefully glamouring the fuck out of the would be killer. And then her ordering a ‘Straight Male A+’ and being all, ‘that ones for me’, lol! It was hilarious, although I do kind of wish Jessica had hooked up with the hot receptionist vampire. The receptionist vampire could have found Jessica’s glamouring funny, and been intrigued by Bill’s comment on how she’s ‘new’ and then decided to take it upon herself to, ah, break Jessica in. Mm, yes. Janine likey.

Lafayette! Baby, you went from breaking my heart to making me laugh so hard my stomach hurt. Seeing him all curled up on the couch like that made me just want to hug him (even though he probably would have called me a hooker and kicked my ass out like he did with Tara). But his wild flipping, and humping, and doing the worm and general giddiness after feeding off of Eric CRACKED ME THE FUCK UP! God that was some good stuff.

I really hope we get to see Eric and Lafayette on screen together more. I like them together, and I kind of want them to hook up. Honestly, ASkar has a lot of chemistry with his male costars. Right now, an Eric/Lafayette or Eric/Godric or Eric/Bill hookup would make so much more sense to me than Eric/Sookie (especially the first two).

I always wonder what the fuck people think went on when they wake up from one of Maryann’s orgies. It’s like the orgy thing, okay, whatever. But waking up covered in pie, or with a handful or dirt in your mouth? WTF? I’d been like, “I’m gonna miss the next one”, cause pie in inappropriate places, and dirt in really, really inappropriate places is just not hot. I just would love to see a morning after shot with them all waking up, and like looking down at themselves and then around at the people around them and trying to sneak off all shamefaced before someone sees them.

I still seriously want them to bust out chanting something similar to this one orgy though.  I can't help but love how creepy this storyline is and I want even more creepiness (and Michelle Forbes)

DO WANT SAM. DO NOT CARE. Also, he needs a haircut.  Arlene shit-taking Daphne WAS pretty awesome though.  I'm kind of sad that Arlene/Terry hooked up at the orgy, cause I liked them together.  I'm really sad that Tara/Eggs first time was under the influence of the orgy as well.  Hopefully, that wont throw too much of crimp into their style.  I like them together (not enough to completely stop shipping Maryann/Tara, but enough that I like to watch them on screen together and am not annoyed by them).

Oh, I almost forgot Jason.  Oh well.  His "Jesus was a vampire" spiel was kind of funny, and his BBQ soft-core fantasy cracked me up a little.  And when he pulled his unbuttoned shirt together to maintain his modesty I cracked up, I must admit.  But by next episode he's going to be tapping that so hard.

I am intrigued by Barry the Bellboy.

Jessica continues to win me over.

Yeah Jessica has been a lot of fun to watch these past couple of episodes and the actress is really winning me over too. I especially liked the part after Hoyt leaves and she's trying to explain to Bill what she's going through. I don't know, the way her voice broke got to me and then of course there was the adorable giggling after. And I just about died when they cut to Jessica failing to get out of her coffin.

She's great. She's rapidly becoming one of my favorite characters. She may be my favorite behind Pam right now. Deborah Ann Wall is doing a great job. She's really stealing the spotlight here. I hope to see more from her.

I concur. The episodes as a whole are a LOT more enjoyable this year than they were last year. I'm literally now jonesin' for the next episode, while last year I go days before remembering to download the next one. Last week when there was no new episode I was so sad.

Yeah, I've been liking Jason this year too. It's amazing what a real plotline and not seeing his naked ass every week can do for his likability.

I think they probably do know he's Sookie's brother. I think that might be why they want him. Because they HAVE been paying a lot of attention to him, when there are a lot of other willing stoogies at the camp. Maybe they want to turn him into a poster boy for the cause. Get him to move against Sookie, and the promote how he's choosen God and family and America over his fang-banging sister, and that everyone should do the same to keep America pure or some other shit like that.

THIS! It's amazing. She's like ketchup. She makes everything better. I especially love Sookie around Jessica. With almost anyone else I want to slap Sookie silly, but when Jessica is around or even just being discussed Sookie is so much more likable. Even that bone-head decision to take Jessica to see her family didn't bother me that much.

And I loved Eric's completely bored reaction!

lol, yeah I loved that he was just watching the movie like it weren't no thing. I don't love Eric as much as other people do, but he is pretty funny with is utter boredom with almost everything (well, everything that isn't Pam, Sookie, Bill, money, and these days Godric and Lafayette).

This bugs me so much! Cause I've been looking for it! It's honestly the thing that is bugging me the most! Like you said, you know there are closet cases there, and don't tell me that some of those young girls wouldn't be all over each other. I see it all the time in clubs and there's no Ancient Greek Maenad sending out orgy waves there (that I know of). And with how gay Maryann is for Tara (seriously, in that first scene in the kitchen I thought there were gonna kiss) you know she'd be all over that!

Have you read the books? There were totally closet cases in the orgies! I won't say who to spoil it, but there was a very particular seen where a relationship was ruined because of it. God, I hope they follow the book a little and give us some Eric in pink spandex. *_* That's when I started loving Eric a lot.
