Legend of the Seeker, I heart you!

So, I've been watching Legend of the Seeker like a fiend (why, why didn't I watch this show before?????) and I'm loving it (and Bridget's Regan's ... well everything). 

I still think Richard is a bit of a spaz, and Craig Horner's facial expression crack me up (and make me want to hug him like a puppy), and I can't believe they had a clip show in the first season but yeah, I'm hardcore loving it.

I should be finished the first season in a day or two at the rate I'm going.

I have to just say, I am disturbed by how deeply I loved Mistress Denna.  Seriously, this has been the sexiest episode of the show to me.  I think she would have been able to 'train' me in like 5 seconds, lol. 




Damn you Legend of the Seeker!  DAMN YOU!  I did not need an honest to god Dominatrix kink!

And don't even get me started on the hot, hot sex that is fake!Mistress Kahlan.  Her badass strut down the road with Richard on a chain might be one of the THE awesomest things I've ever seen.

Does Denna show up again in Season 1?  I'm on like episode 13 at the moment, and I'm waiting with baited breath for her return.  I feel like I've been confessed ... or Mord Sith'd I guess, lol.  Please say yes!

Saw it. She was delicious, as I expected. Denna really has set the bar too high for any other Mord-Sith to come near her level of awesomeness. Every other one I see always seems so lame compared to her.

And I think it's been confirmed by Bridget via Twitter that Denna will be back in season 2, yay!!!

I know, right? Craig Horner is the definition of Man Candy. It's hard to take your eyes off him when Richard's topless (and Richard's topless a LOT). Only Kahlan's cleavage can distract me more, lol.

I would definitely recommend watching the series. I'm totally loving it. It's a lot of fun, and is from the same people who brought Xena to tv screens. So if you liked that show, this one is very similar in tone and awesomeness (though obviously it doesn't have Xena levels of lady gay)

After reading the books, I just can't get into this series. There are just too many changes. That aside, I loved the books. Denna was one of the best characters in them too. I won't say more so as not to spoil you about her. You should check out the novels though. Same here. I just finished Faith of the Fallen and I've heard so many terrible things about how the rest of the series goes that I'm not terribly inclined to pick up Pillars of Creation. :x

I'm the other way around I guess. I started watching the series first, and so I'm avoiding the books because I feel like I won't like them based on how different things are from the show (i.e. I heard there's lots o' raping in the books)

When I'm in withdrawal after watching the series, I'll probably check out at least the first book though (those suckers are huge, I was looking at them the other day and they are THICK, lol)

Don't worry, I'm way late to the Legend of the Seeker as well but there is plenty of time to catch up. I'm really LOVING the show. It's lots of fun and full of pretty. It's like a Xena/Merlin hybrid. So if you like either of those shows you'll probably enjoy this one as well.

Don't get too excited, she was just faking. It was part of a con they were pulling. Still, I would recommend watching that episode because even though she was faking, Kahlan was ridiculously hot posing as a Mord-Sith. Ridiculously. Insanely. Scorchingly hot.

Also, the series in general it tons of fun. I'd recommend watching for sure :D

Yeah, pretty much the first book, Wizard's First Rule. I felt that Denna completely owned the world, but Cara has become pretty fucking awesome in the books.

Mama knows, child! Mama knows! I totally stumbled onto this show and was sucked in. It didn't start to get good into the middle of the series, but I'm glad I stuck with it because it was worth it in the end.

I think the reason I stuck with it was because it was so beautifully shot. It was just a buffet of beautiful landscapes, colors and costumes! Then of course you add a hot chick who kicks as while wearing an outfit that billows in the wind and I'm done for....And then Mistress Denna shows up and boom goes the dynamite!

This. The show really does look amazing. The Xena people really do know how to make shows like this. Their shows always look so amazing, but when other people try to do it the shows look cheap.

I wish I could write some Kahlan/f fic, but the show really doesn't give a femslasher next to anything to work with. Cora is really the only female Kahlan has interacted with so far, I could see shipping her with (in like the five minutes she was in that collar). That pesky 'orgasm confesses people' thing makes it even more difficult. Jennsen is like the only person she could really be with thanks to that (or another confessor I guess, since they can't be confessed).

*sigh* I love the show, but they are not being kind to femslashers, lol. At least when it comes to Kahlan.
