Sadly, Erin was on vacation in Thailand when this interview was filmed so my bb, was not present, but America and Julia were totally awesome. Julia, oh Julia *dreamy sigh*

Seriously, watch this interview! It's hilarious and sexy and at the end America has a wardrobe malfunction, lol.

I watched the first ep of Spartacus yesterday. Um, sad to say, not impressed. I'm hoping that will change after watching the second episode. More than anything, it just made me want to re-watch Rome.. or 300.. or Gladiator because it felt like a mashup of all three but not as good as any of them.

So much word to this! I just posted about this actually. I was pretty underwhelmed by the show. The second episode IS better than the first, but it still doesn't hold a candle to any of the movies/shows you mentioned above. And the slow-mo 300 style fighting is WAY overused. It was actually really pissing me off that the director used it for EVERYTHING. Like they'd be eating soup and he'd slow-mo it!

The show is lucky it's got Lucy Lawless, and Erin Cummings in it though, cause I'll keep watching for a while for them and crossing my fingers that it gets better.


I also feel torn because I'm like 'Yay! Erin's boobies! Boo! Why couldn't I have seen Erin's boobies in Julia's hands?'!!

I know, right! Although, watching those scenes made me feel a bit smug, because the Erin/Julia scene in Bitch Slap were 1000x hotter without anyone's boobs being on display. The Spartacus scenes weren't badly done or anything, but they didn't sizzle like the Bitch Slap one did.

The biggest problem, imo, is we really didn't get to know either character enough other than 'THEIR TWU WUV IS EPIC, YA'LL, EPIC!' anvils being dropped.

Oh god, don't even joke about that. I honestly fear it could happen. I swear there was one shot, where Spartacus got like hit on the head, and the camera was like soaked with blood as if the entire back of his head had caved in. And then ten seconds later he's back on his feet stabbing people. And I was like, OH COME ON!!!

Yeah, their whole love affair has been entirely badly written, overwrought speeches and explicit sex scenes. Blurgh. I have no attachment to them whatsoever as couple, because we never really got to see them interact with each other in a believable way.
