It's tied in to the DoS attack on Twitter, My Space, and Facebook. Live Journal was included in the attack. And I agree - it's frustrating as hell!

DoS = Denial of Service, which can take several forms, but usually means hackers supersaturate the target (ie. website/server) with external communication requests thereby slowing site traffic to a crawl or completely preventing legitimate business.

Heh, it just means that a lot of people from your address space are serious dumbasses who open e-mail attachments like anna_kournikova_nipple_slip.jpg.exe and then proceed to run the executable installing a trojan that gives the hacker a complete backdoor to their computer. If one has Windows and one has not got a virus protection software, one is a serious dumbass.

I'd suggest installing Hotspot Shield, which is a proxy thus LJ wont see your true IP and lets you through.

Just stay with Livejournal please, I really enjoy reading your postings. :)

Aw, poor Ashley. Once nude pics are out there, it doesn't matter how much legal action you take. That shit is out there for good.

I really feel like every woman in the world should be able to have a go at kicking the nuts of the people who steal/sell pictures like these. Like, goddamn. I don't have any burning desire to take nude pics of myself, but I should be able to if I want to without worrying about them being plastered all over the interweb.

i completely understand why she's pissed about it and why she's trying to get them removed!

Oh for sure. The situation sucks hardcore of her. And even if they get them taken down, it's like they'll never really be gone you know.

Curiosity is an awful thing. On principle I wanted not to look cause I am a fan, but my curiosity got the better of me.
