I saw boats and planes and rejects from Blade II and Volturi-looking mofos, and a bunch of other random shit I'm at a loss to explain, but tbh I don't care.  Why don't I care?  Because Milla and Ali are looking all hot and acting badass and shit and that means this movie will be awesome.

lol, Heroes is more than enough to develop a crush on Teh Larter. Honestly, other than Heroes she's mostly been in bad horror movies and teen flicks so you're not really missing much. I would recommend checking out "Obsessed" though, because Ali is smoking hot and crazy as hell in it, and it's a stupid but fun movie.

OMG! Watch the movies, they are tons of fun. The third one is a little dumb, but it's got Milla and Ali in it which makes it bearable. But the first and second one are actually good. The DVD commentary for the first one is also one of the funniest things ever.

Also, thanks for the link to 'Cracks' the other day. Kinda my favourite movie right now that I may have watched 1892851112923 times already.

I'm kind of anti 3D movies because they seem all the rage (that and the idea of Watchmen in 3D traumatises me), but for this, I will definitely rethink and probably completely change my stance. For this, I will become a devout fan. But only for this.

Oh dear god, it looks as gay as hell. I mean, a *TRAILER* loaded with subtext?! Most awesome movie of the year, and both Ironman and Prince of Persia are much anticipated. But Milla and Ali? They totally trump anyone else.

The only downside: five months. Five long agonising months of hell waiting for this to come out. [sobs] I honestly can't remember the last movie that had me this excited.

I love how even though these movies get further and further away from the source material...I just don't care. And I should, I really should, I've been a fan of the games since the original on the PS1 and have played them all but...Yeah, I just. don't. care.

However, having said that I do love that they care enough to put random shout-outs to the game in there. Nemesis, someone who can only assume is Wesker or based on Wesker, and the valve handle/water tower. Awesome. And yes, it was jimp-worthy (what an AWESOME word btw).

I've never really played the games so I don't really know when they deviate, but like you I know people who play the games who still love the movies because they're so much fun even though they're different from the source material.

see them all! like now really! one and 2 are awsome and in the first one you can see some alice/rain subtext like off the charts, and in the 2nd one there is some jill/alice subtext, in the 3rd one not so much alice/clarie subtext but is there a bit, but with the guys out of the picture I feel that Ali and Mila will gay it up big time in this one lol
